Who thinks trading in destiny is something bungie should add to the game?

Weapons & armor? No. Ships, shaders & emblems? Yes.

Not a chance. They're already battling problems with people selling flawless runs in Trials. You open up trading and there'll be a big black market almost immediately.

Destiny has one of he strangest player communities in which I've ever participated. Most communities are eager to have more choice and interesting new ways to interact with the world and the other players inhabiting it. In Destiny's community, a sizeable faction and likely even a majority continuously clamor for less choice and less player empowerment. I've never seen a game community more afraid of the idea that their game might grow and expand over time. As to the issue of player trading, a lot of people have mentioned Destiny's MMO elements when defending the obsolescence of Year 1 gear. Those same MMOs (usually) have player trading, including for armor and weapons. They also manage to place reasonable restrictions on trading as well, such as level requirements for more advanced gear, and prohibitions on trading endgame or raid gear. I don't see why anyone would assume trading in Destiny would be implemented without similar prohibitions, so nearly all the arguments against it seem like straw men to me.

Yes trading should of been included. There is not a single good reason explaining why it was left out that doesn't boil down to "but den da gayme wuld b two shawrt!!!" The fact that something so simple and standard would drastically shorten game play is proof of how lacking in content Destiny is.

it would make the game too easy and would get rid of grinding all together

Yup this was suppose to be a feature in the official game but bungie -blam!-ed everyone
-
Trading was originally suppose to be in the game

There is not enough items in Destiny. Trading is pointless. There should be atleast 4x more exotics in the game for trading to work.
-
-blam!- no. Second worst thing posted on the forums.
-
They should do some shader or artifact game/pink slip in the tower
