I feel like religion should be a personal matter and I'll always respect the next person's beliefs even if it differs from mine. It just sucks that people like to impose their beliefs on others because they are different. What an atheist, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, or whatever has absolutely no impact on what I do in my life. Another person's beliefs does not pay my bills, put food on my table, or provide a home for me and my family to live in. I wish people didn't care about the next man's (or woman's) beliefs as it would probably make for a slightly more productive society.
