Press B to HighFive
Have you ever wanted to spice up this game with flare? Do you have too much team spirit but don't know how to let it out? Hi there. I have come with an idea so revolutionary, it may change the Halo experience forever.
I have come up with a solution to forever change the gameplay in Halo 3. It is called Press B to highfive. How does this work you say? Well, whenever you pass a teammate in the game, an option will appear (Just like to get into a vehicle) to press B to highfive. Please note that this may differ with controller setups, however I am sticking to the default settings for now. The beauty of this option is that your teammate, has the option to "deny" your request for a highfive, by just passing you. This lets you know the trust rating of that teammate, and how likely you will be betrayed for him in the rocket launcher. Also note that this option would work in vehicles as well.
Allow me to offer some examples. Say you are doing the annual run, and whilst in the air jumping toward the Dawn, you and your teammate highfive each other in the ghosts. All right! Or, you just saw your teammate rack a sweet overkill with his shotgun. Yea! But what if your teammate betrayed you for the sniper and then tried to high five you later? Denied! The versatility of this option is endless.
P.S. If I wake up and find this option implemented, I will send every person at Bungie 20 dollars. Yea, I know thats a lot of money, but its worth it!

Don't know if it's been said or not, since I honestly only read Page 1 and 6, but would said High Five work between two teammates on the SAME Mongoose? Example: You're playing Snipers on Valhalla, and you're so far ahead, you decide to go Jousting for a bit (sniping off the back of a Mongoose). You come around a rock, and 4 enemies are in front of you. 1, 2, 3, 4 headshots, and you get the Overkill Extermination. Your driver holds one of his hands up, and BOOM, High Five. Would make for an epic screenshot, at least.

Not to mention the fact that these high fives would make for some awesome campaign screenshots as well. High five the injured marines at the beginning of Tsavo highway for some care and love mastercheif style!

It would be great for montages, but in game I already am an expert at death and this would just raise the level of my ability to find ways to die to the atrocious death level= hey how about a medal for the best deaths ever? God bless, anci3nt

[/quote] You don't have 20 bucks to send everyone and I doubt your parents would be happy knowing you made that sort of financial commitment with their money. I like the high five idea though, that means that two players have to be in close proximity to each other and will commit to an animation where its an easy double kill. Sounds good to me.

The high fives will go on! Another possible use for this feature would be where people create awesome custom maps that allow people to showcase their highfives. Or something like how many high fives can you do before you get infected with by the zombie.
