I love my Stranger's rifle and would like if it could do somewhat more damage if you decide to take it with you to Trials. You can get kills with it, but it isn't as easy as the messenger. It is one of my favorite guns. Please help out with this.
Also sprinting has been broken in this game for both PvP and PvE. If you are sprinting and decide to stop for whatever reason and then try to sprint again, it seems to take anywhere from 3-5 seconds to start sprinting again. This really hurts you in games such as crucible or Trials and even nightfall and raid activities. If I sprint and stop to do whatever, I would like to start sprinting as soon as I can and when I choose to do so. Please consider fixing this.
Thanks

Dude the sprinting thing is so damn annoying! Specially when you're getting bombed by 100 different fast fire AoE guns on omnigul :( thanks for that strike btw bungie...

Edited by Miridios: 8/27/2015 9:41:12 PMSprinting is not broken. That's how sprinting is designed. Imagine yourself running crazy distances. If you stop at any point, can you immediately start running crazy speeds and distances again? No you cannot, because you need a moment to catch your breath. That's how it is in the game, your guardian is catching his breath. Once he has reclaimed his airways, you sprint again. You should have had a "neither" option as a fourth choice.

The strangers rifle turns into the exotic pulse rifle "no time to explain" so in the taken king you can upgrade it.

Sprinting isn't a big and strangers rifle doesn't work well because of level advantages, it's call game progression, you know: getting better gear. If you want a good pulse rifle I recommend over soul edict that you get from crota

Trials of Osiris has Level Advantages enabled. This means that weapons with higher attack will do more damage compared to lower attack guns. (eg. Messenger > Strangers Rifle). As for sprinting, that is simply the Sprint Cooldown. You can sometimes double tap Y/Triangle and sprint again, but other times you'll have to wait.

Why the hell should they make it better in trials, the whole poi of trials is that Damage matters, and the strangers rifle is not meant to be and end game high damage gun
