So what content will i be getting if i dont purchase ttk?

Due to my schooling being very hectic and tedious I don't have time for much of anything else so I won't be playing Ttk untill winter break most likely. However I'd like to know what new additions my game will get w/o Ttk. Will I still receive the tower overhaul? New faction upgrades? Will level 40 be obtainable? Gunsmith upgrades like arms day and such EDIT: thread I just found.
Ok so TTK is around the corner but our buddy Lost Sols isn't here to give you the news in his usual well put way.. So I'm gonna give it a shot, forgive my terrible way of writing lol Before I get in the heavy stuff I'm gonna dedicate a few lines to something a lot of people may be overlooking You will get 95% of what's been advertised about TTK even if you DONT buy it.. Let that sink in Let it Scroll up and read it again Be patient Ok For example: Vault space, Exotic blueprints, Ghosts, Vendors, New Currency System, Quest system, Redesigned Campaign w/ More Voice Over, Better Dinklebot w/ More Ingame Lore, Weapons Patch 2.0, Shaders, etc... All of what's been listed above, and some more that I probably forgot to put in will be yours whether you spend that money or not.. Meaning if that's why you're excited about the new DLC you can save your money right now and don't spend it.. Ok let's start into some stuff TTK offers Oryx and his Taken: My biggest question is why is this intergalactic God who's lore has been mentioned multiple times, doesn't have "Taken" from the Galaxy/solar system he's coming from.. And by that I mean the species of creatures native to his area.. This big bad God flew across solar systems in all those big bad space ships that was empty and waited till he reached earth to fill up on soldiers? On another note content: So far for $40+(depending on what country you live in) you get a 8 missions, 3 strikes, 1 raid, 1 new area LOL no I'm not joshing you, that's literally all you get(everything they said that justifies that asking price is the stuff I said you get whether you buy TTK or not hahahaha) Let's talk exotics: Bungie said there will be more exotics in TTK then there was in Vanilla.. But that makes me ask, are these new exotics just the Year One exotics that got a new paint job?... Why are only SOME of Year One Exotics making it into Year Two(are they gonna take our best exotics away or did they not finish redesigning all of them and cut the work load and gave up)? Why are a majority of the exotics people spent 1000+ hours in this game trying to get, being thrown out the window? Will the VOG, TDB, and HOW be pointless when TTK comes out since we can't Upgrade the Vex Mythoclast, Necrochasm, Lord of Wolves, Queenbreakers Bow, and Dregs promise? Did we just throw away that $105+(you probably spent a lot more if you bought the Collectors Edition, Ghost Edition, or Special Edition) for no reason: $65(Vanilla Destiny) + $40(TDB + HoW) Let's talk about TTK Collectors Edition: 3 new emotes were the weakest dance moves that literally exist on this planet.. Of all the bad ass signature dances they could have used such as(Mike Jackson moon walk, breakdancing, flips, etc etc) Class items that boost exp gain(for those lovely last 6 levels you need to reach sigh) Shaders(You will get and later on receive way more better ones if you just wait and play anyways) Let's talk content again: Since I haven't seen The Raid or the DreadNought yet I can't speak on them but if you wait till Wednesday you will see what it's like But like I said you only get 8 missions, 3 strikes, 1 Raid, and 1 new area for the price of both the previous DLC or 2/3 the price of a new game
