Light Level Transferring to Regular Level in TTK
I want to start off by saying most of this is parphrased but there is one direct quote from DeeJ's interview. This isnt confirmed but in one of the interviews with DeeJ said that you will go into the taken king with the level you have achieved. Now this doesn't exactly answer the question of light level or regular level but later on He says, "there are things for you to do, things for you to play that will start to elevate you above level 26 very quickly.". This assumes that you will be starting at 26 if you were 26 in light level before the taken king. I suggest finding this Game Informer interview and watching it for yourself. I believe strongly that you will continue your light level to regular level in TTK

1 Replyit just doesn't seem worth the time or effort anymore. After i beat the taken thing (probably take a day) I'll move on and let the playstation kids have their exclusives. This game has nothing to offer once you meet the light level cap and after that maybe a gun or two , but the replayability is zero.
