With the upcoming Nerf/Buff update arriving very soon, I'd like to vent off a few hundred degrees and share my opinions.
Nerfing in any game to me seems utterly stupid. Why? Well when you look at it, Bungie creates a concept idea for a game, creates the game (guns, modes, story, etc.), everything is prepped and ready for launch. All bugs are fixed, latest cheeses found by game testers are patched, and we are ready for launch.
Skip a few months ahead and there comes the dramatic nerf of the auto rifles. This nerf came into play mainly because Bungie wanted players to use other guns aside from auto rifles. Really? Not only in the pvp world did this happen, but along with the pve world as well. This made the entire existence of the auto rifle..crap. Anything thats an auto rifle right off the bat is poop. This then force players to revert to pulse rifles, hand cannons, and scout rifles. Now that we are using these too much, the little whiny b*tches out there are saying the Thorn, Last Word, Red Death, and many other guns are to be Nerfed as well.
Let me explain what this does.
If you nerf something and the community is unhappy, don't nerf everything else to equal out the playing field.
Fix your mistakes, buff the auto rifles.
If everyone persists on nerfing the thorn and last word, just raise the standards of other guns to compete! (Make buffs, new guns, newer perks to overcome these whiny b*tches)
Please, don't suck the fun out of destiny. Please?

If you raise every gun class to thorns and the last words power and/or time to kill it would ruin the PvP in destiny. Just hope they get it right this time.
