Vault of glass and Crota's end taken king.
Now weapons of year 1 will go up in moke, will this mean that doing the raids from year 1 will also be useless. I mean i have never done a raid (to lazy and introvert to search a group) but I always thought that I was going to do the raid sometime. Besides that, will raids from year one be useless too now?

5 RepliesWell the latest trailer showed a scene in Crotas end with a level 38 enemy as well as some unknown device where the Totems usually are. So maybe, just maybe they're getting a revamp too

The gear will always be appropriate for the activity it came from. Only difference is you won't be using any old raid gear for new content. And raids will remain the best way to get exotic chances, and most likely will also drop year 2 exotics.

3 RepliesYep. Bungie managed to make it so the new DLC effectively lessens the end game content worth doing. Basically a DLC for a loot based shooter that makes half the best loot useless and most of the existing end game content obsolete. Pure stupidity.

I'm not sure how relavent the year-one raids will be in year 2. However, without a doubt you are missing out on the most interesting, fun, and challenging content in the game by skipping the raids. I didn't start doing raids until about 6 months ago. I accepted a random invite in the Tower to do Crota on normal. Since then I have been hooked. After I became more capable on normal, I started tryingdoing it on hard. It became easier, but still challenging. Shortly after doing Crota on hard several times I started doing VOG on normal then hard.. Try it, you'll like it. Use a web site like the100io. Join a fireteam and start enjoying the best part of the game.

Raids are still the most fun thing to do in the game. Find a group and see for yourself.
