So in House of Wolves we were able to ascend our old gear, but in The Taken King they're making light level gear worthless? This is absolutely counter-intuitive. WTF Bungie. Figure out something and stick with it. Also people got screwed over by grinding for gear. Whether you enjoyed grinding or hated it, all that time has gone to waste. I welcome change, but isn't the Traveler supposed to supply light for Guardians so they can fight off The Darkness? There are so many holes right now, what were the Devs thinking!?
