Iron Banner Tempering Buff
Can someone explain to me how the buff increases every day of the iron banner? An example question I have is if it's easier to rank up from 0 on Sunday and Especially Monday? Explain mechanics/numbers

2 RepliesUperLord Parker's link pretty much covers it. The Tempered buff starts at 10% bonus the first day of Iron Banner, then goes up each day. Tuesday = 10% Wednesday = 20% Thursday = 30% Friday = 40% Saturday = 60% Sunday = 100% Monday = 150% The tempered buff also applies to bounties, just like the emblem/shader/class item bonus. The swag item bonus is 10% each, and does not change throughout the week. These can be stacked together too. The additional boon UberLord Parker refers to is a "catch up" bonus that was added with House of Wolves. If the character you are working on is a lower Iron Banner rank then your highest character in Iron Banner, they will get a 100% rep bonus after rank 1, until they hit the same rank as your highest ranked character. That stacks with all the other rep bonuses, so the Iron Wrath bounty is worth up to 1300+ rep today.

Here... this is [i]old[/i], but the reputation section at towards the bottom still applies. http://planetdestiny.com/iron-banner-reforge-guide/ You want the Tempered Buff AND the Swag Buffs (Emblem, Shader, & Class Item)... if its your first time in, then buy the swag items along the way. That article doesn't include the [i]additional boon[/i] for alternate characters... your alternate characters get a rep buff to catch up to your primary (as long as one character is a full level higher... the other two get it)... The [i]boon[/i] also stacks with the Tempered Buff AND the Swag Buffs. EDIT: DO THE BOUNTIES!!!
