What's your plan when battlefront comes out?
I know many people who are gonna be playing the new battlefront game and stop playing destiny. Now, I for one, like destiny as much as any other person who tried to reach the highest levels and obtain the best gear. But, was it worth it? Was it that hard? No... It just took time. The only gun that takes brain power and real motivation to get is necrochasim and the exotic bounties, but that's it, and that's a one time thing. I think destiny needs to think on its feet a little more and add things to the game that don't make a player obsessed with shoot kill and get, but more of, shoot for a reason to kill what you have to, to obtain this through a puzzle of other objectives that only happen at certain times. That way, people will have to play ok certain days to get what they need. That way you can manipulate a player to play every day of you want too. Make your game not just a shooter game with a nice reward... That's what Star Wars will be... Don't be like star wars, we all know what's more popular and what one everyone will gravitate too... Say good bye to your ten year deal that hardly no one will care about when your game is a crumb compared for what's to come. Just saying.

Not preorder and wait for reviews/gameplay, especially when EA is involved. Dice has done good work with battlefield but it's always scary to buy in when you only have little details.

9 RepliesBattlefront won't be worth it. Gameplay wise, it'll be Battlefield 4/Hardline but Star Wars. Amount of contend from what I've heard and seen, Battlefront will only have about a THIRD of Battlefront 2's content. No campaign, less people per game, less planets, no space battles, and finally, scrapping parts of the game to be resold as DLC. It's EA, don't say that you don't expect it.

Everyone will play TTK and when Battlefront comes out they will drop out for a bit for something fresh for awhile but they will be back sooner or later.

Probably dropping Destiny for the bad habit it is. I'm still cautious about Battlefront. DICE has a crappy track record of release and EA is just as greedy as Activision. Of course, they are trying to clean up their reputation since it was damaged from 2010-2013, so unlike Activision they have some incentive to release a decent game. But I will see. Besides, if Battlefront doesn't do it, I've got XCOM 2, Until Dawn, Fallout 4. Destiny will be an afterthought.

Destiny is a good game Battlefront, battlefield, and Call of Duty are all s***** ass games although battlefield is nicer then Call of Duty but no hardcore gamers are playing it. Destiny will be good for years and years to come just like Halo is. You must suck at Destiny. So far I've seen comments about battlefront being a twin to battlefield. Okay, it may have been made on the same engine, but it has different mechanics than battlefield. Vehicles on maps was a battlefront idea long before battlefield, and there's no heroes or insanely cool power ups in battlefield, there's no mass amount of game modes besides the basic ones they've kept for awhile, the maps are based off of original Lucas picture ideas. The game in itself is an original concept and whatever they decide to make it into, it's going to be fun and balanced. Balance is key to the game... Unlike destiny. I expect E sports covering gameplay on it actually, I wouldn't be surprised.

The time was worth it-- there aren't any games out that I wanted to play. Sure, Destiny wins by default... But I had a hell of a lot of fun playing it. I think battlefront looks awesome. It's perfect timing since destiny has gotten stale for me. No hard feelings, but I'm not buying TTK. It's time to nerd-out to a different game. Battlefront, tales of zisteria, final fantasy XV... There will be other games for me to play soon! RIP destiny. Forever. :]
