one of my teammates just shared an alternative thought i hadn't considered, and i'd like to know what you think.
nerfing gjallarhorn to stop people from posting "must have gjallarhorn for invite" is actually counterproductive. it won't force people to figure out alternative methods, it'll instead make them rely even more on having gjallarhorn. where 2 or 4 in a raid used to be enough, now everyone has to have one to make up for the damage loss.
thoughts?

Im pretty sure this is the only real reason their nerfing gjally. I have 3 and honestly i find myself using the lord of wolves or thunderlord more often. Low allows me to walk through most crowds of enemies, even majors and ultras, and many of the harder nf's and p.o.e.'s are arc and the thunderlord absolutely murks!

It's these idiots that posted those requirements on the forums fault.ever since the announcement of the nerf those posts have all but vanished.maybe next time an op weapon is unleashed on us these same idiots will keep there requirements to themselves.learn from your mistakes idiots and shut up next time...

That is just the reason they are giving, the real reason is more than likely, after the POE extravaganza, Skolas included, that this is their answer to something with their expansion. Their Skolas "nerf" wasnt a nerf at all. They just want it to take longer. They want you to play through as they designed it, and nerf everything if the community finds a way around it. almost positive they are just trying to prevent things like the broken Crota raid from happening again(which by the way Bungie, Crota is STILL far more fun than this POE BS I bought). Destiny is broken :( RIP

Unless they nerf the wolfpack rounds by 80%, which would make it rather useless.
