I've got the quickest internet my provider offers and can't stand lag switchers. I'm showing up as red bar and I bet I got reported at least once in this lag-fest match. I have a close friend who was banned and has never cheated. I'm all for banning the cheaters because I think they ruin the game. At the same time, with how horrible the lag can be in this game, I wonder how many non-cheaters get banned and called lag switchers when it's just because of how laggy the game can get at times and then everyone going report-happy.

Both next gen consoles need a Bandwidth detection. If you hit red bar at anypoint whilst playing the game should drop you immediately and not allow you back on til it has the recommended bandwidth. I'm sick of crappy connections helping people out.

He does have a red bar in the roster screen...I swear every match I play there is at least one red bar raider. I ALWAYS report them...I am getting to the point where I am not even going to play crucible which is sad cause it used to be my favorite part of the game...DROP THE BANHAMMER BUNGIE!!!!!

1 ReplyYeah kinda sucked yesterday. I shoulder charged a hunter (should have gone down easy) and right after punched him with a full melee attack and he didn't die. He backed off and we started shooting each other. I die then when I revive a few good seconds later I get a Post Mortum kill from a shoulder charge for that hunter. This kind of lag death happens so much now that it's just become something that I laugh at. And that was a good laugh lol

I just tried imagining a LagFest. Like, it would be the weirdest thing ever. You'd have thousands of visitors traveling from stall to stall to try different foods, but they twitch, teleport, and walk into/through walls and stalls the whole time. Any live bands playing would play silently for like the first few songs, then they'd freeze and the audio would try to catch up. The crowds watching would be standing still while you look at them, and after you turn away for 1 second, they would instantly be in mid-chant/mid-dance. And at the end of the day, there would be fireworks that would twitch and teleport to their max height and explode only for the sound to come out 5 seconds later.

Was looking for a place to leave a comment. Bungie may have dropped the ban hammer but it sure doesn't feel like the lag--whether through cheating or lack of dedicated servers--is any better this IB. For instance, last night our group went after a guy standing on the flag. We couldn't injure him. We couldn't take the flag because it was contested. Nothing could be done. So flipping stupid.

2 RepliesI have never experienced as many kill trades as i do when playing iron banner. I can honestly say about 30% of my kills are trades which shouldn't happen in a hit scan game.
