I'm sick of your shit, Bungie.
I'm trying to reach Rank 5 in IB so I can get Gold Spiral - since my dumbass forgot to get it last time I hit Rank 5.
The problem is you, not me. Why? Caterpillar and banjo.
I'm using a CAT6 1GB ethernet cable on 50mbps broadband. I'm dedicated to my connection and it would be great if you were.
I can't reach my goal if you don't do your part to provide a stable gaming environment.
I upped my standards, so up yours.

Our investigation indicates that it may have been a temporary issue due to routing issues in your geographic region. Historically, Bungie has seen users hitting these types of errors in geographic clusters in different places at different times. Please be aware that issues of this nature may be outside of your control, or ours. If there is damaged hardware or significant congestion along the route that data is taking from your system to Bungie's servers you may need to wait until your regional ISP or other network operators have resolved the issue. Let us know if you're still having problems and we'll do our best to provide answers to get you back in game with a stable connection.

Your issue isn't your connection that's preventing you from getting rank 5. It's the fact that you obviously suck at the game. Sorry not sorry.

I play maybe one crucible game a day now and often go days without playing destiny because this is the worst experience I've had since I started playing. I don't even want to play the iron banner this week because I already know what to expect. Completely unrelated but I'm also appalled that it's going to take them nearly an entire month to fix the husk of the pit.

6 RepliesI went through 7 losses today due to lag switchers as soon as we would get ahead or towards the end of the match they would do a run away game, Sucks to be 2000+ points ahead and as soon as they start the lag end up being minus 4000. PVP is a joke I don't even try to do the lighthouse due to the fact its so rampant in there. Considering contacting microsoft and demanding a refund for the Tking expansion. I Became disabled a few years back and gaming is all I can pretty much do anymore and it just sucks and totally heartbreaking to see Bungie be so slow to do anything about it.

1 ReplyAre you connecting directly from the broadband router to your system? Or are you going through a hug/switch first? Try directly connecting from the ISP router. That has solved a lot of the network issues people were having. I had several of those errors until I "cut out the middle man" in my network layout.

I feel your pain, I have an issue everyday with caterpillar and coconut, also tried using a cable. When it starts i just give up and try agian in an hour or so. But you are right, its complete BS. And with taken king essentially we are buying destiny again? not sure its worth it.
