Thorn bounty problems

I have received a bounty for thorn for the second time and I don't have Xbox gold, the first time the bounty disappeared so my question is any suggestions? Thank you for you're time -Logan

Get gold or forget the thorn. You need to do crusible or you wont be able to complete the bounty.
