If you really want some balance in ToO and equal base chances for both teams you guys from Bungie should really consider locking the pool of players in their own regions, mostly because the same average latency.
For those with lower latency, the gaming experience becomes slightly easy, it is not even a real challenge playing against someone in the past. In Iron Banner and major pvp modes this issue is less highlighted due increased number of players. But ToO requires a high level of team play and strategy, it's naturally hard. I'm seeing a lot of guys quitting before the match begins and I can't blame them: it's impossible beat players from certain countries, and is not because their skills.
Please consider it. All the best, stay in the light.

Up Region lock in Destiny 2 PVP. Bungie, please.

Edited by HyperVigiIant: 2/24/2016 4:24:44 PMBumping this old post for truth. In some matches a sniper chest shot counts as a headshot; in others, a headshot on a stationary target won't register. Players should only be matched up with people from within their own region, especially since this is a peer-to-peer game.

Bump, please add this I lost two game nines yesterday which ruined two of my flawlessruns. One was from team from Canada and another to a team from Mexico. I don't care if they have the same wins on the score card. That amount of lag ruins all competitiveness. I'm from east coast US.

Bump. While I am happy that Mexico recently discovered electricity, I really really hate trying to play PvP game modes on their bullshit online infrastructure.
