I don't own a 360, but I love, truly love the Halo series, got almost all of the books, and read most of the comics. This fanfiction isn't fanfiction, its cannon, I haven't read the whole thing (lost my spot when I had problems with my comp, but I downloaded the PDF and will try to find my spot) but I read the majority and its just fantastic! It made me happy espicaly since I read Ghosts of Onyx (my favorite of the technically offical books) and this story since it intertwines with it, made me a very happy panda. :D

Usually I despise fan fiction, given the many errors in the stories I love. But Bungie, never elaborated upon the story after halo 3. Truly spectacular this should be submitted as canon to the Halo Universe.

Thank you for reading. It improves drastically later on, the part you're at was written a while ago and makes me wince a little when I read it. But in a good, nostalgic way. ;)

wow Wolverfrog. you have certenly and utterly outdone yourself. i dowmloaded the PDF and am on pg.66 and already i love it. im viewing it as if it is a cannon, published book. infact it should be. someone should sighn you (and assualtcommand, of course) and publish it. maybe ill rcomend iy to tor or something. that is if u want of course. keep up the great work.

That was, hands down, THE longest epilogue I have ever read. It was like 5 chapters worth or more. That said, this was actually better than any of the published Halo novels.

Wolvers, I can truly say that this may be the best piece of writing I have read in easily the last five years. It's a true work of art. To fit such a detailed and broad story inside such a small space takes talent, and you did it almost perfectly. There were a couple mistakes, but those were so minor in terms of the whole scope of the story. Reading this put me in the action; every time Eden escaped death, I would nearly cry. I felt the pang in my heart. Your writing unlocked the emotion within me, and kept me on my seat (literally) until the end. This needs to get more views, and, if possible, should be sent to 343 so when they inevitably make a Halo sequel, they use this. Because it's freakin' amazing. Great job, man.

Wow, I just realized that I didn't comment. I seemed to catch this just as it got finished up. I honestly thought it was amazing. I found myself smiling at how some of the characters fit their predetermined attitudes as well as they did (Johnson in particular). I wish I would've started writing outside of school as early as you did. I'm only starting now, after I've started college. I know it will be a struggle to keep the ideas in here from transferring over to my own fanfic, as I find my writing style to change depending on what I've read recently. I know after reading the Halo novels, I could distinctly see my writing change and become closer to the style in them. Anyway, the story was very awesome, and I will be sad if 343 makes a sequel to the Halo trilogy, and follows a different path than this. I hope I will be able to get this many followers on my fic eventually (I'm on chapter 7 and only have possibly 3 readers that I know of). Good luck with any future writings and such.

Alright, I PM'd you about the PDF version. I've finished the front cover, the legal -blam!- (fake, of course), the chapter list and I finished copying and correcting all chapters up to Chapter 29. 170 PAGES ALREADY! All done today, I'll see what I can do tomorrow. P.S. Correcting those few mistakes is very tiring. Having to find them between that flood of words is especially tiring. I also fixed not only spelling, but also the part where the Arbiter rescues Master Chief, they escape in a Seraph, and later, in the next chapter, it suddenly says that the arbiter was looking out of the [u]spirit's[/u] windows.
