I was playing the weekly this week and I thought I'd use my Voidwalker since it was void burn. Why not right? It was really helpful for most of the strike. But then this happened.
I've been upset by my nova bomb practically killing me in PVP before but this was ridiculous. I was trying NOT to die and then I just go commit suicide on my super of all things.
I think you should NOT be able to be killed or hurt by your own super. If you agree, vote, bump and like this topic.
Edit 1: Consider a Striker's super. It can be ranged (death from above) or leave an vortex (aftermath) and it's a giant explosion but it doesn't injure a Titan at all. Yes there's risk in leaping into the fray, but that is why Titans can have unstoppable. There is significant risk in using Nova Bomb as it can easily be whiffed (on Destiny Tracker the Voidwalkers have the least super kills in pvp, even less than Defenders). Also, Golden Gun combustion doesn't harm the user. No other super does.
Edit 2: For those thinking it's "logical" to be able to kill yourself with a nova bomb, I have a question: is it logical for your teammate's rockets to do absolutely no damage to you? No it's not. This game isn't built off logic.
Edit 3: The purpose of this post is to show what seems to me to be a imbalance in the supers and ask for equality in immunity to a person's own super, not act like a baby and ask to nerf everything that kills me. So please don't go name calling and hating, it doesn't help anything.

Edited by TITAN7ev: 7/27/2015 9:57:33 PMSo.... Why is the Warlock class the only class that can die because of their super? The Titan Aftershock is the closest think I can think of to a Nova Bomb, but Titans don't take damage from the aftershock. Titans can die because of taking damage from other players (in PvP) or AIs (in PvE), but not from casting their own supper. I think Warlocks should be immune to their own Nova Bomb. Therefore this post deserves a bump.
