TKK digital content clarification
Alright I just want to try to get some clarification on the bonus digital content for TTK.
In the 6/24/15 Weekly Update, Luke Smith wrote, " If you purchase a stand-alone version of Destiny: The Taken King, or already have, you'll be able to pick up the digital items as soon as they are available."
So is this in reference specifically to the 3 emotes, shaders and class items? And does this apply to the $40 Digital Download version of TTK? Does dropping the $40 on the stand-alone digital download of TTK net us the bonus digital items? Because, in that same paragraph, Luke Smith says, "We’re actively working to make the digital content from the Collector’s Edition available in a $20 upgrade bundle (suggested retail price), available on 9/15/2015." To me, this suggests that the digital items will not be available to anyone who buys any version of TTK, and will only be included in the Collector's Editions of the game. If you get the legendary edition then, "you can also elect to pick this up if you want to upgrade into a Collector’s Edition." Which also suggest the digital download will not be included in this "stand-alone version" bonus.
Can anyone at Bungie clarify this?
tl;dr Which versions of TTK are eligible to receive the digital bonus items of the three emotes, shaders and class items without spending $20 on those items in their separate purchase option (whenever it becomes available)?

4 RepliesThe suros Pack is available to anyone that preorders any version of the taken king in any country. This is the same with the vanguard weapon pack and the rumored hakke weapon pack. It'll be available to any players who didn't preorder January 1st 2015 like the redbull quest

$40 digital = TTK only add another $20 if you want the shaders/emotes/class items

I bought TTK off of the xbox store and all I'm getting are vanguard weapons, unless they're including the SUROS pack as well?

1 ReplyFrom @m1lkshake227 : If you just want TTK buy the $40 version, if you want TTK and the shader, xp thing, and class mods but don't want to buy the $80 version, buy the $40 version and pay the extra $20 for the stuff. But if you want the other stuff in the physical collectors edition, TTK, and the digital stuff, get the physical $80 version. I hope that helped you. :)
