Trade exotic shards of etheric light
Come on I mustn't be the only one with a growing number of exotic shards that basically we don't need and we get more and more and you can't trade them. The speaker trades glimmer for unwanted items so why is the exotic shard just stagnant. Can we not trade say 5 or 10 for etheric light, seems a decent trade off as the shards are expensive and not easily acquired.

I dunno about trading for etheric light but we should be able to do something with them. I have over 100 and every time I see it I want to break it down or be able to do something with it

1 ReplyThat would be great. But unlikely to happen since it would make the game experience a little easier for responsible adults. But at least let us trade them for something. I'd gladly trade shards for 50 weapon parts!

1 Reply77 sat in my vault at the moment, a couple of months ago I posted the very same of trading exotic shards for etheric, but since then I have had a change of mind as etheric is pretty easy to get in reality. I now feel that Xur should except the exotic shards back at a rate of 5-1 for exotic engrams as well as also selling them for 23 motes..

1 ReplyWell, you need Exotic shards to upgrade exotics. It is so easy to get Etheric Light, I don't know why you would want to trade something for it? You can get 6 per week from Prison of Elders, you can get 9 per week from Trials of Osiris, and you can get an additional 6 per week that Iron Banner is active. I'd rather see the ability to spend Etheric Light on something - they are piling up like crazy (and I've already spent over 50).
