I have Destiny (disc) and the Expansion Pass on the 360, and am thinking about upgrading to an XBox One. I have "purchased" the "free" Expansion pass for the XBOne on my account from the xbox store online. (Available as part of the console-shifting thing [url=https://www.destinythegame.com/digital-upgrade]here[/url]. That page, however, only discusses the currently-released expansions.) As directed by DestinytheGame.com, I signed in to validate my ownership, and it now shows that the Taken King Digital Download is available to me for purchase on XBone. (Logged out, it shows as "coming soon", as per the FAQ). I notice in the XBox One store that it ***REQUIRES DESTINY, EXPANSION I: THE DARK BELOW, AND EXPANSION II: HOUSE OF WOLVES. SOLD SEPARATELY, but says nothing about the base game; perhaps that's why it's showing as available? I guess this really just comes down to whether or not TTK is a disc and is usable as a "play" disc or if it just installs and needs the Destiny disc to play [b]TL;DR:[/b] Xbox Store lets me preorder TTK Digital Download (not just "Coming soon...") for Xbone even though I don't have Xbone Destiny (only 360). Will it work? [b][u]Edit: UPDATE: [/u]Xbox.com now lists TTK as an "Add-On" that "works with" Destiny. That answers that, crisis averted.[/b]
