Bungie's Listening

Before you get any ideas, no this isnt a sarcastic post. This is true to what i believe, and what i think a lot of other guardians believe as well. Bungie really is trying. This was the first game in a series, and was wildly successful, but it wasnt without its potholes and pitfalls. I dont really think its much of a debate whether or not Destiny has been a fun game, most people reading this have put over 100 hours into it (a large amount of playtime by most game's standards) and even if its felt like an annoying grind, weve all had moments where weve smiled. Whether it was beating the vault of glass, taking down Crota, or the very first exotic- weve all had moments of joy that arent seen in video games very often. Yet it seems no matter what happens, the vocal minority of players still complains. The best thing (or worst, depending on your opinion of it) about Bungie is that they care. They do scour the forums looking at what we all have to say; dont believe me, check out the last two news pieces theyve had. Theyve made changes to weapons that people were bemoaning, and theyve hired another community manager because they want to show that they really do care. You cant expect Deej to read every column, and then get angry when you see the hours in the game he puts up, its unrealistic. Deej has done his best to listen to us, and with a new community manager i think it shows that he wants to prove it- by giving us another potential set of ears. I, along with what i believe to be the silent majority of Destiny players, just want to thank you guys for caring about the player. You could have put out the game, taken your money, and ran; instead you sold us a game, and continually tried to make it better for us. I appreciate what youve done for us thus far, and look forward to whats in store.
