Don't nerf gjallarhorn
If you respected your community you would let Players who earned this weapon use it for its purpose: destroying everything.

I already have too many exotics that really don't live up to the name. Same with the thorn. And the thorn is available to anyone thats willing to work for it.

Nerfing won't solve the problem, it will make it worse. If you want a solution, buff other launchers a little bit, not to the point of gjally, but make them viable options. From final fantasy and such, "ultimate weapon" are always usually sought in video games to make things easier.....nerf gjally, I for one will stop playing.

Hay bungie please don't nerf the gjallarhorn just got it one like 2 weeks ago and it's the only one I got and I wanted it so bad when I didn't have so now that I do have one and that I have I love it it's like having a girlfriend. So I hope u do the right thing and don't nerf the gjallarhorn I understand what u r doing just to point out nerfing the gally would be bad on your part cuz then they players would not play the game for my self include as much as like to play an love the game so everyone have a good day

1 ReplyI love this weapon, but I see Bungie's point. I've been invited to fire teams only to get to the final boss to find that they have no idea how to beat it without three Gjallarhorns, refuse to learn, and insist on waiting in the air lock until their synth and supers become available, when we could have done it legit in the same amount of time [i]without[/i] Gjallarhorns. I've been commanded, yes, commanded, by randoms to equip my Gjally, and use it. I've been on fire teams with such "Yallar-envy," where the sniper told me [i]NOT to use my G-horn on the boss[/i], because it might make him move out of his Black Hammer's sight line. Even when there's a void or arc burn, this weapon does more damage than any of my other launchers. When these things happen, there is something wrong... with the weapon, with the game, with the players, maybe all three. I like that its a weapon that people are excited to receive, but it shouldn't be the only solution, or even the most overwhelmingly popular solution. It could theoretically be nerfed a LOT, and still leave it as the most versatile, overpowered, and sought after weapon in the game. [b]So go ahead Bungie! Nerf the frack out of it![/b]
