lol at the blink comment in the weekly update
i think its funny how multiple people came to his desk just saying remove it and he still thinks he can fix it......
anyone else get a kick at this attempt to make blink actually balanced?

42 RepliesIf they will nerf Blink , i will start bitching campaign on Warlock 3 meter Melee , Shoulder Charge of Titan etc.. All class's have advantages and disadvantages. If you can't learn how to counter them , then you have no place in PVP , Simple as that...

There's nothing on my radar, I zoom in to shoot at a guy in the distance, before I'm able to kill him a void walker blinks right at me and shotguns me (I could have heard it but I had the sound low cause people were sleeping.) Someone brought up that a counter to blink is grenades and horseshoes which ok. Hold on. That only when you have heavy. With a rocket launcher. The sleeper stimulant will be useless against some one who blinks up in the Air and shoots a rocket at you. Besides, people with blink dodge grenades and horseshoes all the time, which will be even easier once it's nerf comes into play. And also people are saying its balanced because everyone has access to it, first of all no, some people love their Titans very much, or blink may give them motion sickness. And that's like saying the last word or gjallarhorn are balanced. No, they are not. Everyone being overpowered is the opposite of balance. It's anarchy (not the good kind), and makes it less fun. Yes the shotguns are getting nerfed, I think everyone agrees with that move. But that doesn't mean that blink shot gunning will go away. That's how people countered the suros during its regime, when shot guns were terrible. Blink needs to be toned down, I don't know how but it's absolutely silly right now. No one even mentioned the blinking arc bladers. IE the absolute most annoying thing in the entirety of the crucible.

2 RepliesI'm a furious blinker and I want it gone. Make us all learn how to use our specific class jumps to our advantage. No blink spam because you're getting shot or to get into shotgun range across the map in 2 seconds. I'd be quite happy to become a double bumper jumper hunter in a month'r so

1 ReplyI assume he's going to remove the whole "don't get damaged" feature that is complete crap. Nobody else gets to avoid grenade deaths, especially when they are sticking to your damn face. But! It can be balanced. As in massive cooldown time for it. Mind you, if they plan on nerfing a "strategy" they damn well better do the double bubble that titans do

Blink should have never been in the game to begin with. How Bungie didn't figure out during testing that it was overpowered, cheap, and completely broken is beyond me.

i think they should STOP -blam!-ing up stuff just because some asshats want to be try hards in pvp and in "fixing" things for pvp it leaves thos that dont or not much shafted in all pve stuff most people dont even play pvp yet that is what dictates how weapons are "balanced" its really crap that cant figure out a way to nerf or buff stuff for pvp and pve differently i stopped using souros after the focused fire nerf and that was ALL due to pvp there are countless other things just like this its like 20% of people that play this game are -blam!-ing things up for everyone else

Nerf it. Captains are hard enough to hit when they dodge and more so when they blink. They always know when to blink right when i have a solid headshot lined up.

2 RepliesRemoving blink is the most idiotic move ever if any thing just ban it for pvp Because I use blink as a evasive skill and pve it's gotten me out of many jams removing it would be unfair and an asshole move.

People complain "broke this" and "broke that". If you give your natural ability to adapt your muscle memory can prevent those things from happening or circumvent them with knowledge on how to defeat em. I understand blink can be annoying I use it on my voidedwalk and blade dance...however neither of those are my main subclass for each one respectively. Over and above all, controlled and calculated jumps that are provided are better then the occasional missle dodge blink. If they nerf it, I'm cool regardless. I just honestly wish people would quit whining so much during year 2 and allow Bungie to give us a game that they made the way they wanted. If you don't like the product? Bounce, no one will judge you or even care. Plenty of awesome games out there anyway. [spoiler]ive blinked off a map more times then you all have killed me in the crucible[/spoiler]
