Imagine also, if oblivion had remastered graphics! That would be sick.
Edit 1: this post is growing faster than I thought, keep posting your opinions!
Also, what does everyone here think of Morrowind?

Skyrim <
-
Oblivion for sure, looooved the thief and assassin quest lines. Some of the best in gaming. But morrowind > both
-
Morrowind is my favourite out of the series, it was just immense fun ..... after the first few levels. As soon as you get a few levels in and you stop seeing "miss, miss, miss, miss, miss" every time you try and attack something it gets a lot better. Out of Skyrim or Oblivion though ..... i'd have to give that to Oblivion. Better story, much more going on and some of the quest mods for that game were amazing. There is a total conversion mod with a massive amount of content for it, that was fantastic. Nehrim it's called. I can play the base game for Oblivion without mods and enjoy it. Skyrim I managed once but it's a bit bland. I couldn't play it on console, I need mods to make Skyrim interesting.

Oblivion for days
-
where's morrowind?
-
I liked Skyrim a little better only because Oblivion was the first console game to have IAP. Granted it was only cosmetics and not necessary to win it should have been included in the game. Now look where we're at. Other than that Oblivion is a great game.
-
I loved em both. Looking back, I liked moment to moment gameplay better in skyrim as well as combat, but I liked houses and guilds more in Oblivion. And items. Something about it just felt good in a way Skyrim didn't replicate.

Edited by Kankunation: 7/14/2015 9:59:12 PMOblivion for one reason: The Shivering Isles. Best DLC I have ever played, nothing has come close to being that enjoyable with that much content for that little bit of money. That was a true expansion. Dragonborn and dawnguard were both pretty good (better than knights of the nine) but the 2 combined still have less content than shivering isles. Edit: if I could have oblivion with skyrim's combat and current gen graphics, it would be amazing.

Oblivion had a more interesting story, better monster scaling system. Oblivion > Skyrim
-
Skyrim all the way. Oblivion was fun, but the main story was just so brutally repetitive.
-
The only way I would say Skyrim is if they allowed mods on the console, I hate having to use my computer to play games with mods.
-
Lol People don't know what are they missing in Oblivion
-
Played neither but would love to. Im currently playing ESO.

People saying Skyrim = kids
-
Half the people here haven't played oblivion

I despise Oblivion's system in which enemies level along side you. Any game that does this (FFVIII for example) is usually disappointing to me. But I also hated how Skyrim really cut down on the traditional rpg elements. The geek in me loves to see the individual stats and class selection. Picking between the two, Skyrim for sure. I never felt any sense of progression in Oblivion.

Lol, I've played oblivion and voted for Skyrim. Only reason people voted Oblivion is because they wanna be "Veterans" or just wanna sound cool because they've been around longer.
-
Anybody who votes skyrim didn't play oblivion. lol

Both! :D
