All golden chests found, but says 4/5... (on Earth and Mars)
Anybody else? I've gone through countless times, and I have 100% found all of the chests.
It says I only need 1 more chest to complete the year one thing.
EDIT: I have found all the chests on that character, but for whatever reason Mars is still saying 4/5. I just found them all on another character and all went smooth and am ready to get the emblem!
Edit2: All golden chests must be found with one character (does not have to be the first character you made). If for any reason you have a character that has found them all but it only says 4/5, then just go and find them all on another character. Hope this helps.

I've ran through and checked all the locations, even the one in the strike, and none of them are there, I'm positive I've picked all of them up, too. I'm really not sure why this happens. *EDIT* I've found the one I was missing. I was looking on the wrong platform in the Temple of Crota.

So I'm in the same boat. People keep saying "u have to find them all on the same character". Let me explain what that means. If u go through and find all chests on the same character it will show 5/5 for each planet. The issue we are running into (I believe) is that we missed 1 on Venus the first play through. Then with a second or 3rd character we found it. For whatever reason it now won't ever show up in the first character, but bungie seems to be counting it towards your overall account. I can tell that by the Moments of triumph count. I hope that helps man. It's confusing and dumb that it removes it from every character. I could be way off to. Just what it seems.

8 RepliesI just recently ran the chests on my titan. Never really bothered to do so before the release of the year one content emblem. While gathering all of them I was unable to complete the venus chests. The one in the tunnels leading to the Ishtar Academy I remember getting ages ago but checked anyway. Not there like I figured. The chest in the Winter's cave you have to jump to, got it. The chest on the back of the Fallen ship, got it too. The chest in the Ishtar commons in the cubicles, just got it as well..... Now this leads me to the last chest. The one in Campus 9 back behind the structure in the middle... Looked at countless videos and posts saying you can get it in Patrol, its in missions, blah blah..... Now I don't really remember getting this chest before but, it wasn't there. Reset my ps4/game still nothing. Got on my other characters and now they are all 3 at 4/5 chests each without the Campus 9 or the tunnel to Ishtar Academy. So yes, its bugged on all 3 of my characters. Did at least 15 loads back into venus and searched all 5 chests, just to make sure, and nothing. So whether the past accomplishment of opening the chest is bugged or the chest itself is bugged. Could someone that isn't spewing nonsense out their ass answer this. IE not some random Joe on the forums.

You must find all those chest with 1 Character. Every Char as his own counter. Just log in to any Charakter and have a look at a Planet in the orbit , you can see how much chests you have found on every Planet. Maybe you just found the chest with a wrong charakter. Same happened to me. I collected all chests with my warlock but it said that theres 1 left. But i remembered that i have this one already. But it was with anotherchar. So i had to collect this chest with my Warlock again and everything was fine

Yep, happened to me, I've run 8 characters but for some reason it didn't show up as completed until I found them all on my latest primary character. Bit of a flawed system Bungie, not like you at all ;)

1 ReplySO I think you have to get them all on one character(does not have to be first character made). Meaning it must say 5/5 on every planet. There is a glitch where it will say 4/5 sometimes. If it says that on a character you can't get the 20/20 chests for the new emblem.

It will update when you get the chests. Just go through to each location and see which ones you've missed.

I thought i was getting same error but turns out the dirst mars chest on patrol was the building to the right not the left as it looks in most youtube videos

are you absolutely, positively sure you collected all chests on one of your characters? you have to have one character with all of them and that's it. can't collect all five on Venus on one character and the other five each from Mars, Earth, and the Moon on another character and call it good, doesn't work that way.

3 RepliesYou'll be able to check which one your missing by the world maps 4/5 , then when you know which world just go to all five chests because your probably of thinking of getting it with another character
