Well, I guess I have 62 days to get those last 4 golden chests!
Why U do this Bungie?
So much to do, so little time!
Everybody is going to get that emblem. It will be like STD's on springbreak.
But srly, I think 62 days from now is too much, it should be 4 weeks, top. And the players that have completed the requirements in that time window should get the emblem and a cookie.
That and the requirements should be higher. Like all ghosts found, 1 mill crucible medal score, 10 Crota and VoG HM runs and so on...

People who started playing during house of Wolves can get the emblem if they grind enough... I didn't have to do a single thing on that list since I've been playing since beta/launch .. kinda lame that a beta player and a dlc noob get the same reward...

3 RepliesI lold at the"STDs on springbreak" comparison. Thumbs up. Seriously though, I also had 5 chests to do and I´ve been neglecting it all the time. Then I finished it once in 10 minutes. I don´t understand WHY it was public events and golden chests though. Ghosts would have been a much better quest.

While I agree there should have been more of a challenge for it maybe even a Quest, it will be rare once noobs start flowing in after they buy their Taken King CE bundle and will wonder why they don't get such an awesome emblem despite just getting the game.

I think they made it so long for the players who are still kinda new to or having had it as long. I agree there should be more requirements since we use the internet for everything. I've been playing since beta and I only had seven golden chests to find. I agree finding all dead Ghosts should have been a requirement.

I feel like i misread the update.I was originally under the impression that if i had my triumphs done i could immediately have the emblem.I figured it being bungie day and all we would actually be able to get something today.Aside from a bunch of horrible looking profile pictures and a completely useless weapon armory or whatever....seriously are people not capable of knowing which guns work for what situation? Very dissapointed in bungie right now.....worst bungie day ever...and on a side note if anyone from bungie happens to read this you guys should spend more time fixing all the glitches and other nonsense in destiny instead of making useless features on your site. Or if you really feel the need to focus on your site as opposed to your game maybe a better way to look at grimoire progress instead of having to click on a million cards to figure out what progress i am missing........anyway sorry for the rant
