Matchmaking
We need matchmaking for everything minus story missions

1 ReplyA lot of times we beat most everything without communication. VOG and POE 35 is about the only time you really need it. Other than that it helps but not required. There's for all you people who need to communicate as a reason for no matchmaking. I could find the same random people a lot faster is all we are asking for.

At the very least they need to add it to POE levels 32 and 34. There is ZERO reason for it not to be there. They are glorified strikes which is the reason Bungie gave it to the the level 28 version to begin with.

So Bungie says no matchmaking for endgame because because you cant trust randos. ok. Then they put out an update post advertising The 100 website so we can find randoms to play with. ok? So really you think playing with randos is fine. You just dont want to put in the work of matching us up. not ok.

Given if you have a fireteam of 6 or 3 then you couldn't be matchmade then I see no issue in there being the option of matchmaking. I'm sure we have all done the weekly heroic and level 28 prison which is matchmade with no problem so why not. The main thing 2 consider for anyone that chooses to be matchmade is how to communicate with the other players, particularly for VOG, Crota, Nightfall and higher levels of Prison. If you choose not to communicate then your going to have a bad day, but the option should be there. For ToO then thats another story, I feel that a fireteam should be pitted against another fireteam only to give them a more competitive game (cheating aside), however if matchmaking was applied to ToO then they could only be pitted against another matchmade team, but again the issue of comm's comes in to play big time.

I get their logic, especially after hearing them explain it, but I still think excluding matchmaking was a huge mistake. I don't even bother with any of that, even though I'm stuck at 32. Maybe someday I'll care enough to go out of my way to organize a game with a bunch of strangers... but, probably not.
