Ok before everyone freaks out about hunter being "OP" or "doesn't require skill" let me defend my beloved class. A majority of my destiny friends believe that the blade dancer class is cheap and overpowered, most of this belief is based on how they can turn invisible and how it is impossible to kill blade dancers while the are supered. First off the invisibility aspect of the hunter really helps with the whole hunter feel on stealth, this is personally my favorite style of gameplay in most videogames. Some other players may also believe that hunters rely on their invisibility too much when in reality most of the class is built around it and since hunter are the class that focuses primarily on agility invisibility helps so you may not be killed due to low armor or recovery. Secondly the blade dancer super is not over powered like everyone says, sure it can easily kill people in pvp but in my opinion it is fairly easy to kill a one if you have a shotgun (this is the gun type I primarily use in crucible). So what do you thing about the blade dancer class? Is it OP or not? Please let me know I want to know other people's opinions.
Side note: I have played as warlock and titan, I think they are fun just not my play style
-
I used to. Then I made a hunter and got killed as blade dancer so often. BD is not op.
-
I don't get it either hell I just whip out my lord of wolves then waste them. Teabags for days.
-
Nova bomb and FoH have similar blast radius but arc blade can dance half way across the map. OP no, annoying as hell yes.
-
Didn't know people thought it was OP but in defence of the blade dancer; - Invisibility? You're bright freaking blue, you make a distinct hiss noise when you turn invisible. Literally just as noticeable if you waltz round the corner and wave at them. -Super, can literally be killed with ANY other super (If the BD has a super why don't you?). Can be killed via shotgun/sniper, even a titans storm fist can 1-shot a BD. They have to get really close to attack so either run like hell or aim carefully. Depending on the game mode I'd say strikers are the most OP class. Single best grenade in game along with a super that literally cannot be stopped. Armamentarium allows a second grenade, death from above means you don't even need to be close to use super. Imo it's the most OP class, and it isn't even OP.

Blade dancer takes huge skill, especially in pve
-
After many of flawless appearances I can say with confidence that hunters and warlocks are on the same level, with Nancy ass Titans well behind.
-
I think it is a challenge to master the bladedancer super because for me it is really hard to get a kill in the crucible when i activate my super

Edited by Esko: 7/13/2015 6:58:18 AMbladedancer is best with dont touch me.

Hey, All I'm gonna say is... Never stop Bladedancing :)
-
1. Invisibility is OP ? lmao just no 2.Supers are not supposed to require skill 3. It's easy killing a hunter when they activate there super
But they can be useful if you get lucky rasperry and hungering blade once you think about it you no class is OP they just know how to utilize themselves
-
The arcbolt grenade with lucky raspberry and ashes to asset is the shit.
-
Completely useless in PvE Give it a buff like give it a 'Brawler' buff and then we'll talk
-
Now I enjoy bladedancer however if used right you can kill the whole team by just tossing your controller down a flight of stairs
-
I think in pve its decent, team dies, pop super, go stealth mode, revive team, jump away like boss, and if team dies again just duck for a few seconds, stealth mode, revive. Thats what i use mine for. Love stealth mode.
-
I'll accept the fact that people say blade dancers requires no skill but 90% its the same people who use the damn thorn so yea. I'm looking at you warlocks and titans
-
I used to think it was OP, then I created a hunter. I dont think it's OP anymore. How many times does the blade dancer not lock on to people 2 feet away
-
I don't hate it
-
Bladedancer, and both warlocks OP in PVP.
-
Um...I don't.
-
i say it's op. Titan Strike super, u can jump to dodge it. Warlock Voidwalker super, you can move out of the way. Hunter bladedancer, they move around a lot so its hard to kill them.

Edited by Lee: 7/12/2015 10:27:18 PMCause theyre whiny victims of the supercharge. All most ppl say when they get fist of panicked or nova bombed is "well shit".
-
The blade dancer is probably the weakest of all supers since getting gunned down is common if a super isn't there to cancel them out. Atleast sunsingers can use there gun still.
-
I think they are fairly easy to kill in pvp. If I see one coming after me I just nova bomb them. If a nightfall has arc however, that's a different story. I was able to kill to HoW stike boss with 6 attacks from my arc blade. Seems a bit op in that department.

minority > everyone
-
The only problem in have with them is that they move so fast and won't die while in Arc Blade. I don't care for using shotguns. (I feel cheap killing someone with a shotgun at the kind of range that can be accomplished with. It's absurd.) Why should I have to run a shotgun just to not watch a Bladedancer get a 5 kill feed? The reason I think they are OP is because you never see Arc Blade or Golden Gun used without a minimum of a 3 kill feed. Warlocks and Titans can "panic super" but who gives a shit if it only nets you 1 kill? That's not even a good argument. I have to use Nova Bomb and hope for a multi kill or sit on it and hope I don't blow it when an opportunity arises to get a multi kill. It's not balanced versus the other supers. Just like the bubble being broken with 2 GG shots or FoH breaking it and killing those inside. Not balanced enough. Not broken but not equal either.

I gf you space between paragraphs the words won't run together. A paragraph is 4-6 sentences.
