I remember when iron banner or any level advantage type started. You saw people using snipers, fusion rifles, shotguns, auto rifles, scout rifles, hand cannons, pulse rifles all guns really. No one used just one or two guns to play. I know a lot of guns have been nerfed, but I can't believe so many people use the same guns just to win. It's really sad to see losers like this. Bungie do something. Bring back the fun and skill required to play.

Cuz not every1 had all the exotics. Shotgun range has become insane. I remember pre fellwinter lie. The trouble you had to go through to close the gap was insane I was blinkshotgunning already, still am and always will

used the vanguard pulse rifle early in the week when it takes a million matches to get to rank five. took it over to the next character today and took it to rank 5 on easy day Man it is stupid to play iron banner early in the week. Any way I have all the deadly exotic primaries and didn't use any of them all week. I did see those matches where everyone was using thorn and the last word but what ever. Nothing to be done about it. I am sure the statistics are sitting on the desk at bungie and some more fine weapons are going to go on the block real soon. Hate to see it since Thorn was my first exotic and I used it so much in pve. With the prison of elders and such now I never equip it for need of the gjally or ice breaker like all the time.

None of those couple of weapons could touch me earlier with my mida
-
Yea, that's why I left PVP so long ago, now I'm stuck on dark souls, so much -blam!-ing dark souls

Bump bro

When I first played pvp I thought the weapons you received were just a random roll, I was kinda disappointed when I figured you could select your own weapons.
-
whether you're playing Destiny or Checkers, the player with more skills will win. people that say Destiny doesn't take skill are full of themselves. they can't admit another player bested them. scrub mentality at its finest.
-
I enjoy Destiny multiplayer for different reasons but Halo 3 and CoD 4 were awesome multiplayer games at the time. Battlefield 1942 was too much fun as well.
-
If you want to play a game that requires skill, play Halo 3 multiplayer.
-
-
... and Suros was the only gun (great memories, why choose 3 when there should have only been 1.)
-
If it's not enjoyable anymore, maybe not play pvp anymore? Just a thought
-
You never saw a Pulse. Ever.
-
I tried to use a sniper this time (ice breaker and LDR) to no success. I've did however have great success with VoC which allowed me to use truth.
-
You miss the days of skill yet most of you scrubs can't even get a flawless or do good in crucible :)
-
All kills in the crucible by top players were 19% auto rifles. 7% hand cannons. Scouts and pulse rifles were 3 and 2%.
-
Ah, the days that when the ones without suros had skill. Good times.....
-
Easy fix, allow only guns in the field to be used like Halo, start everyone off with a crappy hand cannon and set certain spawn points for rocket launcher shotguns etc.. That's what made Halo PVP fun.
-
You must be thinking of a different game.

Back in Beta

Still takes skill last time I checked

No worries Halo 5 is bringing a strong competitive MP. 7 divisions. Wins are what rank you up. Top players will be in Pro and semi Pro divisions with a leaderboard for the top 200 players. If the game play is decent than we'll see a ton of Xbox players leave. However 343 is not on the same level as Bungje yet. As a competitive player, about time we had s game toss us a bone.

In the old battlefield days you had to have met previous prerequisites plus have kept (blank) # in your score per minute to advance up ranks and play in higher rank servers. Have a few bad rounds or don't put out for the team and your score per minute number drops and potentially so does your rank. I loved it!

The only Handcannon I use is The Devil You Know. Not the biggest fan of TLW or Thorn. I'll normally use that an a sniper. If not that then some Scout and Fusion combo.
-
I recently fell back in love with my Perun's Fire. I even ascended it just for IB. It's refreshing to use something that gives you a different set of advantages and disadvantages to everyone else. Especially seeing as other players are never ready for it with the game full of Matadores and Spears. Also got lucky with a Ghelion's Demise that rolled better than the one I got from the first IB, full auto, high caliber rounds and third eye.

Pvp was never balanced and never will be balanced. You can except it and move on or just play the game for fun. We told Bungie about glaring issues since day one and nothing has changed. We get quarterly buffs / nerfs and just adapt to the flavor for those months until another rebalancing. Why do you care that people are not playing the way you want them to?
