Is Prison of Elders boring and useless?
I'm someone who gets on Destiny and plays almost every day, I've put plenty of time into Destiny, I love playing the strikes and raids, they have a lot of replayability, but PoE is simply not needed. To start, the rewards are absolute crap. A shitty queens weapon, some motes of light, possibly a strange coin, and a shitty weapon from Variks? Come on. And Prison of Elders itself is so boring and repetitive. I still have so much fun with Crota and VOG 7+ months after they came out, but I haven't even played PoE for over 3 weeks because it's boring and the rewards don't even make the grind worth it.

1 ReplyIt's the way they designed it. Having played 'Horde' since Gears 2 and various other 'Survivial' modes in other games; it gets really repetitive. It does not have enough to variety. I check the weekly reset thread on Reddit and it shows you exactly what the modifiers, enemies you face in each stage. It should be random for at least the first 4 rounds. If you die it should change. There should also have been a ton of modifiers. The stop and start system ruins the immersion. Your waiting in an airlock. Wait for level to load. Finish level. Wait in airlock, etc etc..wtf. It should be on an actual map with waves, 10 secs between waves to gather ammo, switch weapons etc. None of this loading crap. People say Bungie added this 'Horde' mode as it was requested. What we actually got was a cheap and lazy mode that is so boring.
