The overused thorn
The thorn needs a nerf in pvp to balance it with all the other exotic hand cannons. I like to T-bag any thorn user I see. I personally like the red death or mida multi tool which would both kick the thorns ass if had the appropriate range for a hand cannon. It's not that I hat the gun I just think it's overused and I haven't got the bounty

Unfortunately, if you can't beat the dregs join them my friend. You won't achieve much if you refuse to scrape the depths of that metaphorical barrel. It's a way of life for most, easy kills over actually being good at using a skill requiring gun.

its like telling people to not use blink/shotgun combo. people will always use the easiest way to get kills. are they cheap? yes, are they effective? yes, does everyone and their dog use them? yes. but people are a bit afraid to say nerf them because of what happened to auto rifles. I'd love to see more weapons that can compete with the few that everyone uses but it seems like there is a bigger chance that bungie will take it too far again and make another class of weapons obsolete. handcannons in general are great but I don't want to see them taken out of the equation altogether.

I use it only to win. Yes. It's OP and is overused. I won't be pissed when it's NERFED but I will continue to use it to have an advantage, and trust me I do.
