Anybody here play Planetside 2?

Looking to team up with some people. I'm on PS4. I'm with TR, but I'll get to my Vanu and NC later.

Coming off of PC, Planetside 2 on console just doesn't hold your hand at all. All I hear are players trying to figure out where they are, where do they go, how to do this and that. I know where to go and such but trying to get players organized to at least fill up a Sunderer is difficult. But if your a new player, here's a few things you should know. The Factions
New Conglomerate: Hard hitting weapons with average reload times, faction specific aircraft are heavily armored but very slow, faction specific heavy tank is heavily armored. Their heavy mech suits specialize in close quarters so they're armed with shotguns and can later dual wield shotguns when you upgrade them. Terran Republic: Average firepower with very fast RoF, medium armored faction specific aircraft, very fast speed, faction specific heavy tank uses dual wielding cannons. Their heavy mech suit specializes in suppression and armed with chain guns and can later dual wield chain guns when you upgrade them. Vanu Sovereignty Very weak firepower, but they have the fastest reloads, aircraft is lightly armored but very fast and can hover, faction specific heavy tank is lightly armored but has the ability to strafe with no movement penalty, their heavy tanks hover which means they have full 360 movement and turn very quickly. Their heavy mech is balanced between close quarters and medium to long range and are armed with plasma cannons and can later dual wield plasma cannons when you upgrade them.
Basics of The Gameplay:
Your going to start off in the "Tutorial" which is basically a continent with other new players and you'll stay there until you reach lvl 15, through that time you'll unlock everything for vehicles, classes and the mech suit. You'll spawn at the nearest FOB ( Foward Operating Base ) currently being contested and will spawn at 1 of 4 spawn points depending on how many your faction has under control, or at a Sunderer if one has been deployed. If a deployed Sunderer has been destroyed and your FOB spawn points are under enemy control, you'll spawn at your main base which is protected by a large shield. Your main base cannot be taken by the enemy, they're invincible due to the shield. You'll be in this tutorial continent, and everyother continent for that matter with the other 2 factions, so most FOBs, Biolabs and Outposts will be contested in a 3-Way battle, placing Sunderers in tactical spots to prevent them from being hit by RPGs and the like is key to winning a hot spot. If you manage to win the contested area, your faction will gain influence and control over the entire continent. Once a faction has conquered an entire continent, it'll be put on lockdown for a short time period before being reset. There is alot more to it, but those are the basics of what new players need to know This is based off the PC version I used to play, whether this has changed or not might just be different on console
Planetside 2 is very fun when servers are at peak hours and it's just nothing but 3-Way or 2-Way battles with thousands of other players all trying to do something. I still remember we flooded the skies with 50+ Galaxy Dropships and who knows how many small fighter jets as the New Conglomerate. Each Galaxy can hold 12 players, we went for invasion of a heavily contested airtower belonging to the Terran Republic who were engaged with a very large Vanu army. We airdropped all of our troops and our fighters supported our landings, we took out a large portion of the Vanu who had a secure foothold on their siege against the Terran controlled Air Tower. I was one of many who managed to airdrop onto one of the 4 platforms that hold aircraft at the top of the tower and we almost instantly decimated the Terrans who were bunkered down. The Vanu started retreating and we had captured the air tower. This is that we came in with no Sunderers which meant we had no spawnpoint in a Terran controlled area, we went in with what troops and aircraft we had while Vanu and Terrans had their spawn points, those of us that died during and after we airdropped spawned at the nearest outpost or FOB and reorganized, PS2 is heavily team oriented. That's a true Planetside 2 moment, but good luck trying to organize that kind of plan with the entire server on console, it's easy to do on PC because of raidcall and the like. Oh yea one more thing. There's friendly fire, be careful not to KS too many of your team mates or your weapons will get disabled. PS2 is always a cluster fck especially when fighting in Biolabs. Be careful and try to burst fire for the most part.
