ToO Emblem
IDk if people are seeing this but so many people saying they went flawless with their exotic emblem and soon as you play 1 game with them your asking youself 'How did they go flawless?'
THat emblem became a joke.
Edit 1: Post is not about judging players skill but about how people exploit the emblem and think it makes them god like. Thank you :)

5 RepliesHaha its funny cause me and my trials team wore it the first week then never again. We found that most people who wear it do terrible and generally just get carried through trials for it. It was special the first week but now not so much.

1 ReplyI have been flawless every week so far with a k/d of 1.35. Sometimes I get like a k/d of 0.2 during ToO. Everyone has bad matches, could be because they are tired/drunk or just having an off day. Give people a couple matches before saying they suck and leaving...

1 ReplyI think those people might just be having a bad game. Even Wish You Luck had a game on stream where he went 0.26 KD. If no one knew who he was and you couldn't track stats, you would assume he was trash even though he's one of the world's top players. Also I found that in Trials, some teams just seem to "click" better than others and everyone ends up playing better due to better teamwork, I still haven't quite figured out why. If you are paying people to get the emblem or begging players that are way better to carry you (I mean that have like double your KD) then no you you don't deserve it, that goes without saying.

Totally agree with u. I'm one of that, I just went flawless once and I did almost nothing, at least that's how I feel. So I have the emblem but actually I guess I don't deserve it, so I only wear it sometimes, cos it's quite pretty, but never at ToO. I would feel ridiculous...

It's just cause it's the only exotic engram know right as now and people want exotics right? I want a gally but don't get any I want this emblem but nothing. It's just a lot of people use thorn in the trials.

6 RepliesI feel like it would be really cool if the ToO Exotic Emblem would have a small number (perhaps in the left or right bottom corner) to indicate the # of times you have gone flawless in total (across all three characters). And if Bungie could make it such that the small number (Flawless # count) updates regularly after each Flawless that'd be awesome. If this were implemented, you could go into Trials and see someone with a #1 in the corner, and assume that they're relatively inexperienced, but when you see a #20 for example, then you know you're about to play a sweaty match.

I have flawless and have gotten recked by teams plenty of times. We're not going to be "perfect" all the time but more often then not we will win. One game is not an indication of how good or how bad someone is.

I have good games and I have bad games. but I don't go super try hard mode in regular crucible... and also just because I go flawless a lot doesn't mean I'm a god. it just means with my usual trials team there's chemistry between us and we play good together.

5 RepliesI don't have the emblem, never even went Flawless. I'm not the best at PvP, but I can hold my own and am usually the last one alive running against three Thorns. I have Thorn, refuse to use it in ANY crucible match. No final round sniper either, but not really too skilled as a sniper, but not the worst as well. I run a shotgun, but I don't blink and use it only when outnumbered. Hell, I don't even want to be carried, never asked for anyone to. Would love to get the gear, but want to earn it, not have it handed to me. Nothing against anyone who is carried or carries someone else, I just want to earn it myself. So I will continue to use my VoC and hope that someday I will make it to the Lighthouse.

for me i wear it as a intimidation factor other wise id be rocking my faction emblems the thing is just everywhere and really doesn't mean anything if they put tally marks on the emblem after every additional flawless you got then id say yes this emblem means something but now you can get carry once have the emblem and thats that

Same thing happened with the Crota's End emblem. I was so psyched to have been one of the 600 or so fireteams the 1st week of the raid release to have downed Crota legit with some 18 hours on the raid in total. Then, the -blam!-ing forever down bug was released and that number soared to millions of downs way too fast. Point is, I don't choose to wear either anymore.

I'll usually only wear mine so I can have an intimidation factor in Trials. I'll also be flashing my trials gear to lower their enthusiasm and morale. I'll always switch to what I usually roll with once he match actually starts

Funny story about when I equipped mine (by accident). This guy sends a random message from the tower saying he has an Atheon C.P on Hard. I'm just like "shit, why not join?". So he invited me & one other guy (assuming more but we joined first). I like to wear the white emblem that the titan gets and I was trying to switch to it but instead I moved my cursor too far over & clicked the exotic one. Next thing I know his ass is trying to pull a fast one on me by starting up a trials match instead of the raid. -_- I backed out quick as hell, then he starts spamming me. [spoiler]he got blockt[/spoiler]

I understand that not everyone who says they earned it really did but I still treat it with respect and have learned to be very cautious when I load into a match and see it on the opposing team.

I haven't worn it since week 2. The other day I was in a game of rumble with 5 emblems and I got a sum of all tears. Plus every game of trials I go to is usually against 3 emblems and we usually roll them 5-0

meh i don't give my best in regular crucible ( doesn't matter if i win or loose anyways) and i like the design of it... so why is that a problem for you? Am i not allowed to enjoy my shiny emblem because i'm not enjoying it your way?
