New Gamemode: Siege

It's alright but here's how you can do better (Plz comment)

The Vanguard playlist is pretty boring but I have a new Gamemode that may spice it up a little bit. Siege is a Vanguard Gamemode found in the Vanguard Playlist section where a Fireteam of 3 players must hunt down a powerful and unique boss in patrol mode. Siege can also be done solo or with 2 people. This is optional however. Unlike Strike bosses this boss will actually be kinda difficult. So it might require some communication to Kill. The boss may also have a swarm of enemies at its disposal. The boss will also be located in a random area on patrol mode. And will call for some searching to actually locate. The Fireteam will spawn in a random location on patrol and so will the boss. The Patrol will be an entire Darkness Zone meaning that anyone in normal patrol who is not playing the Gamemode will not be seeing the boss or any high level enemies. As well as any of the players playing the Gamemode. The boss is randomized, as well the patrol location. (Earth, Moon, Venus, etc...) However, The boss will have clues marked around different Patrol areas giving the players some room for investigation. Such as multiple dead guardians or destroyed terrain that will show the boss is near. There will also be Special Operations that will add positive modifiers such as Small Arms, Brawler, or Specialist. There will be one Special operation in every game. Players will need to search for it or may even stumble into one when searching for the boss. It could range from protecting a Satellite from Enemies. Or Activating multiple AI consoles. Completing one of these objectives will always offer a positive Modifier. Killing the boss also has a chance to reward something called a Darkness Key. The Darkness Key could be used to open Treasure Chests on The Dreadnought. Opening a chest will reward the following. 900 Vanguard Repuation (Could be useful for factions) 20 Vanguard Marks 1 Legendary 8% Chance for Exotic 500 Glimmer 20% Chance for an Etheric Light And a 30% chance to get a Special Elemental Shard Elemental Shards can be used to Add Elemental damage to any Legendary or Exotic Weapon. Using a Shard depletes the shard and adds an element depending on what shard you got. (Void Shard, Solar Shard, Arc Shard.) Shards can only be used on Kinetic weapons Like Red Death or Mida. Now I know that searching for the boss may be annoying but the rewards may be worth it as the event has a slight chance to reward exotics for completion. This event could only offer rewards one time a day though. Each difficulty can be completed once every day. Assuming that the Level Cap for The Taken King is 50. Below are the difficulties based on Level, Modifiers, and Rewards Normal: lvl 48, 1 Negative modifier. 3% chance for Exotic. 10% chance for Legendary. 5% chance to drop Darkness Key. Hard: lvl 50, 2 Negative modifiers as well as Heroic modifier. 3% chance for Exotic. 10% chance for legendary. 5% chance for Darkness Key. Very Hard: lvl 51, 3 Negative modifiers as well as Epic modifier. 5% chance for Exotic. 15% chance for Legendary. 10% chance for Etheric Light. 10% chance for Darkness Key. Below is my boss idea [b]Kordakk, The Reawakened[/b] [spoiler]Description: A knight With White and Black skin Texture with Glowing Red Eyes. Wields a Sword, Is as big as Crota. [u]Abilities[/u] Charge: The text feed will say "Kordakk charges a guardian" and will relentlessly chase a player for 10 seconds. Transfer: Kordakk will summon numerous Taken Hive. Deathshroud Blast: Kordakk shoots "Red colored" Shrieker death blasts from his hand that burns players for more damage. Dawn Beam: At half Health, Kordakk will summon 6 Red beams from the sky that will touch to the ground and slowly follow players during the fight. The Beams are 6 feet in Diameter.[/spoiler] And below is a Boss suggestion from [b]PoE Pod Operator[/b]. Give him some credit. His idea is awesome. [b]Randal The Vandal[/b] [spoiler] Boss: Randal The Vandal (note: only appears in small spaced areas with lots of nooks and crannies like The Breech or Ember Caves) Looks: Like a normal vandal with four arms, a sword in each and a Wire Rifle on his bacl Abilities: At [b]all [/b]times he can climb up walls and the like and swing from ceilings and do large jumps. Tends to mix it up to throw Guardians off the scent. Also can fire pistols in one hand while using three others to climb and whatnot. Sniper: Hides in a decent sniping spot with a powerful Wire Rifle and you have to smoke him out. Deadly Charge: Charges at you with 4 swords, one in each hand, and swings all 4 for a massive melee hit.[/spoiler] Below are some nice words and suggestions from a very nice person. Note: I will try to use any and all suggestions so this idea can be perfect. No idea from you guys is a bad one and I will take all consideration from any suggestion. I will also be constantly updating this page thanks to the suggestions so stay tuned to see if anything has changed. [b]Edits[/b] [spoiler]Edit 1: Changed some of the rewards so that players may also earn legendaries as well as a single Etheric light from Very Hard Difficulty. I have also made it very clear that yes, Each difficulty can be completed each day. Edit 2: Added solo options, Boss Clues, And boss idea; Kordakk, The Reawakened Edit 3: Implemented chance for Darkness Keys after killing boss and Special Operations.. Edit 4: Some severe reward Balances to make this Gamemode appealing over long periods of time. and after 1 hour I realized that just wasn't enough. Edit 5: Balanced difficulty system based on Taken King Level Cap.[/spoiler]
