Dividing this based on vertical categories. Magnetic Grenades for single target spike. Suppression Grenades to restrict AI abilities such as Vex/Fallen teleports, Hobgoblin emergency shielding, Wizard barrages, Knight healing shields and so on. Increased Control on your thrusters not just for increased aerial mobility, but for +1 agility. Armor of Light is very situational, but its one of those perks where you'll know when you need it. Blessing of Light for a mock heal on teammates, Weapons of Light for spiking enemies if needed. Disintegrate will be up to you. Warmachine is my personal favorite so I can use any weapon regardless of the gloves I wear, but light generation on melee kill with the barrier is great for a light heavy team. Increased duration on the Ward of Dawn is practically mandatory, as it boosts the duration by 50%. Otherwise take light generation on Ward damage for 3-4 orbs once it has sustained enough damage is sufficient. The final perk is also up to you. A 50% reduction (or was it 25%?) in Ward recharge is amazing as it also provides +1 armor, but you can also chose to buff the blessing shields from 25% to 50% of your maxHP, or +12.5% damage to +25%. If you have the exotic Ruin Wings Gauntlets, you may want to look into the chance to generate light on heavy weapon kill. Now for the stats and other notes. I originally ran a split between armor and recovery with minimal agility, just to boost the shield recharge rate so I wouldn't rely on Ward of Dawn and Force Barrier for survivability; but, I now run with near max armor so I can get the most out of each point of health, shields, and overshields while using the Ward as a emergency recovery ability to jumpstart regeneration. As for ability stats, I just run 100% in intellect and strength to use the ward and disintegrate as my core combat style. I currently try to run without exotic armor for the increased difficulty, but as stated by any Defender, you must try Saints 14 at least once, as it will allow you to use your ward as a offensive ability for once. There is also No Backup Plans if you can give up warmachine and ward duration, as you can sustain the force barrier indefinitely with max strength through continuos recharge and increased shield strength. Though one of the more interesting exotics is the Feedback Fence if you pair it with Armor of Light, which allows you to dish out AoE damage inside your ward while tanking nearly everything. Edit: Another pointer, get a good shotgun. You will have a lot of fun in PvE using a shotgun with your best personal perk rolls, especially as a Defender. Also, Force Barrier and Blessing of Light do not stack, where the barrier takes mechanical priority over blessing. As for how to use the entire kit and when to alter it, you'll have to figure that out on your own through practice.

    • Armamentarium, invective, blessing of light, magnetic grenade, use the bubble as an anywhere home and lock it down for the team so they can tank more outside but still be safe inside

    • Magnetic grenade, unbreakable, bastion and untouchable are the perks that never change for me (along with Helm of Saint). The other stats depend on the activity, except I only use armor of light in PVP.

    • Use Helm of Saint-14 to blind enemies that enter your bubble (This is really helpful) Magnetic Grenade Increased Control Weapons of Light and Blessing of Light are very situational. Use Weapons of Light for damaging bosses if there are only few adds to deal with. For example, on Qodron you can use Weapons of Light as you will not be overrun by overpowering adds. On something like Urrox, Flame Prince, use Blessing/Armor of Light.

    • Look at mine, works wonderfully for me, I sometimes switch to generate orbs when WoD takes damage if I'm doing PoE or something where orbs matter

    • Ok as a Titan since day one, I've always preferred the defender class. Alright, exotic wise, you want Helm of Saint 14 to blind enemies in your bubble. Helpful both in PvP and PvE. An other good option is No Backup Plans. It increases your defense power and increases the duration of force barrier. Pair that with Blessing of Light, Unbreakable, and Relentless and you're damn near invincible

      • What I always run is max agility and the rest armor. Check my Titan. Perks for your bubble just keep changing them to suit you play style. You really can't go wrong skipping recovery because my Titan can pack a walup and move like a Hunter. I use to run max armor rest recovery until you realize that the faster you can move to less you need recovery.
