So since there are more places to explore in the Taken King I was thinking of a Strike with the Fallen, mind you this is a made up Fallen house that you'd fight in the outer solar system called the House of Shadows, these Fallen wear Black and White armor with their symbol being a diamond eye surrounded by dots, they stolen some of the Hive arts of Darkness and are working with a secret benefactor they are not able to be Taken by Oryx. There are about several units exclusive to the House of Shadows such as, Shadow Reavers - Vandals that have mastered the art of stealth and have become one with the dark, armed with Void Sickles and the ability to create shadow clone that dissipate when shot at and reappears when you least expect it. Reaper Captain - After proving himself to his superiors, the Captain is then infused with as much power from the imprisoned Hive, they have obtain a vast array of arcane magic as they wield an Void Scythe to rend their foes to pieces, they are sighted by the cloud of darkness flowing out of them. Fog Servitor - Some Servitors are repurposed to a more defensive role by rigging them with a Poisonous Fog generator that is then leaked out periodically, upon death they billow out a larger cloud of the toxins, signified by a green tint and a gas emissions from their insides. Shadow Binder - Captains that have been given the duty of guarding their Barons,Archons, and Kell, they are either seen guarding or being summoned by their masters as they use dark powers to conjure Void Grenades. The boss of the Strike is an Archon-sized Baron named Ixis, Shadow Baron. He uses a modified Wire Rifle called 'Wrath of Ixis' which charges slightly slower but fires a burst of three arc bolts. The Strike begins like this as Cayde-9 narrates the Strike like so, "Ever since Oryx assaulted that Cabal base on Titan, the Fallen had gotten bolder, they sent one of their Barons named Ixis to take control of the facility and scavenge any Cabal tech, that's where you come in." You start in front of the blasted doors as you work your way through the Fallen infested base killing members of the house. Then your fireteam is then contacted by Ixis who says this, "Ah the light bearers have arrived, House Shadows welcomes you to your death, impress your executioner yes?" Your then walk into a big area where there's plenty of cover as you fight off waves of Taken and Fallen as Ixis taunts you, "The Dark one comes, you killed his son yes? Now he wish to kill us all but House Shadows will perservere." After killing 3 waves the door is opened on the other side, you kill more Fallen including two Reaper Captains and a Fog Servitor in a wide hallway. Finally you get into a large Asymetrical room with 4 ramps with a power core of the base as you see the boss typing at a console as he turns around to the sound of the door and roars at you and the fight begins. What you first notice is that he has Void Shields as you shoot at him. His modified Wire Rifle can take half of your health with each burst, you also noticed that when he teleports he leaves behind a poison mist that lasts for 10 seconds, in addition to his stomp attack, try and surround him and he'll spin in an 360° angle as his claws tinged green as this attack will kill you. Also to note that if he runs toward you he will atrempt to grab you will his left hand and slam you to the ground. As you whittle his health he'll call for his Shadow Binders by summoning them in a dark portal. Another fun mechanic is that if a player does too much damage to Ixis he will gain a debuff called 'Grudge' as he makes an pointing animation to the player in question as the adds focus fire on him as Ixis attacks more aggressively until 20 seconds are up. This is all of his mechanics. If you kill him, sometimes you'll get his gun and grimoire. Ixis, Shadow Baron - "The City desires a Crusade, let us show them ours yes?" One of the most brightest minds of the House of Shadows who is defined as the Vanguard for his house as he stages Crusades of his own as an innovative process learned from the City as he leads numerous Ketches to scavenge and expand their hold over the worlds of the Solar System and to innovate more technology for his House. Wrath of Ixis - "Who's to say that the Shadows is what Binds us all together?" So what do you guys think?
