When the game first came out and I realized there was an app for this game, i thought it would just be for marketing purposes. But I was shocked on all its features. Anyways, I always kept my eyes peeled at the news. I remember there being way more articles, like maybe two or three a week, compared to the one like every two weeks. It's kinda upsetting to be honest. My opinion though. Discuss!

I wouldn't post I'd try to find the best attorney to break the iron cald contract with money grabbing.acttoshitvision. There in recovery mode. We should have all seen this coming when deej the donut boy locks everything he writes then out the back door he gos. Bungie either makes this right or there going to lose alot of players. People that don't come to the forums are pissed aswell Edit... Just throw money at the screen.you asclowns

Give them a break. It's time consuming counting all that cash.
-
They've still been posting their normal 2-3 news articles each week. But their PR people were all at E3 and are probably taking a break after that.
-
They are playing the pre-order head games. "It is better for the fool to keep his mouth shut than to speak and remove all doubt."
-
The twice a week came from many stability and hotfix updates, now there is a standard once-a-week Thursday post. We do have the 7/7 post to look forward to, especially since the 'big year-one bonus' is supposed to be in it.

Not u
-
Yeah where the hell are they! They haven't said a word on anything we have been questioning, DING DONG *Knock *Knock *Knock helooooooooooo
-
Being as how they can't even announce the start of a time limited event like Iron Banner, or even put it in the calendar until two days after it had started, should tell you how much they care to keep the community informed.
-
They are in full damage control mode these days man. Essentially, everything they post or say has to be well thought out and crafted to mitigate as much backlash as possible while still toting the bottom line for their Activision overlords.
-
Yeah......where the -blam!- is the weekly update? UK here wondering why the feck I have to pay £40 to roll around like emperor palpatine
-
Because they've been getting ripped non stop about the edition's of the Taken King, and are rustling up things to do and say for damage limitation
-
Edited by oDOOMTRAINo: 7/2/2015 4:32:30 PMWell they only have 3 months from now to ttk in which to release the how raid they owe us, they likely busy.
-
If you can't say anything good, don't say anything at all. Maybe their moms saw the recent news and called to remind them of that.
-
They can't say anything without the Legion of Butthurt™ swooping in with some snarky comments. If I were them, I wouldn't bother either.
-
You see, you need to remember, they don't care all that much.
Only thing they need to care about is $$$
-
This might be the calm before the storm of a big announcement regarding The Taken King. After this past week, they're probably choosing their words to avoid another PR Disaster. Honestly, I think laying low until the weekly update is the best they can do for now. Talking too much might accidentally dig their hole deeper.

Nope.......not even on Reddit.......Deej hasn't commented even ONCE since like 100 days ago according to his account history.......and that's where the community and Bungie are most active. Hey, it's probably just me but I'm sitting here waiting for a meaningful Weekly Update........I'm ashamed of myself.....No life. :(
-
Not sure if Bungie is required to do so, but compared to alot of MMOs, destiny has a very lacking community manager system. I remember WoW having a rather excellent one. Always waiting for the "blue." lol The whole time i olayed wow since vanilla i really rooted for them. mustve been tiring with tons of conplains or even just posting and having good convos as well. I remember Caydiem who was the druid community manager. was excellent.
-
Not just you... they have opted for radio silence... complete silence. Not sure that is the correct choice.. but theirs to make.
-
Bungie is moving on to their next project. I'd say Destiny 2 and TTK, but since they just took one full game and split it into 10 years so Activision can milk it, I'm guessing they're actually done and will develop something else. Hopefully not tied to Activision. Hopefully with more content and less grinding. Awww, who am I kidding? They got a taste for money!
-
Kind of embarrassing for them every time they fix something another things breaks and the community moves from one complaint to another. Buff this..nerf that... People are never satisfied and constantly believe in some level of perfection that does not exist. Don't change nothing bungie...
-
There busy counting money from pre orders
-
Too busy thinking of how they can release as little content as possible for maximum money.
-
The usual "promises" and misinformation are no longer working for Bungie. Since they have no other messaging ability (short of the truth) they have chosen to invoke their fifth amendment rights against self incrimination.
-
Heads are buried in the sand ( it's the only way to avoid a 2 shot thorn )
-
Yeah I remeber once when they posted the most used weapons and haven't done it since
