Loot drops for Skolas need serious retool
Seriously what is going on with the drop tables for Skolas? In all the times I have beaten Skolas since HoW dropped I have not only not received a version 2 primary, I have actually only seen two drop at all for other players. I have seen this mentioned in other forums and had other players complain to me multiple times about this. It seems like an easy enough fix and it's obvious that it needs to be done. Even if you are lucky enough to get a version 2 primary drop without better drop tables you're likely to get a primary you don't even want and then have to wait another month before you get one. This is ridiculous for the amount of effort one needs to put in to Skolas time wise. All of this of course is in addition to the lack of checkpoint and the potential for being booted to orbit at any time. I understand no checkpoint to some extent but, then they need to guarantee something worthwhile for your time.

But Bungie also seems to make game play decisions for Destiny that are opposite of reality. If the drop rate is so low and if you get a drop, the weapon may be garbage, it isn't worth the time. I would love to see the statistics on Skolas completions. I bet the %'s are very low and dropping.
