[b]Hello, fellow guardians. This isn't my first fan fic but I haven't been posting lately so it's going to be not too good. I am not basing [i]ANYTHING[/i] in this fan fic off of lore. Simply a work of my imagination that I hope you will enjoy! [/b] [spoiler]Sorry if it's a bit short.[/spoiler] [b][i][u]Trifecta: Chapter One[/u][/i][/b] AgentSqurrel01, OoNessQuickoO, and LMAZWarrior. The three most ancient and powerful guardians in the whole world. Clearly, these are not their real names, simply kid nicknames that they use. Every guardian knows of them... And everyone wants their heads. "LMAZ, on your left!" Nessie exclaimed. LMAZ whirled towards the oncoming horde of guardians. He scoffed. "Honestly, when is the city going to get more creative?" He threw a Incendiary Grenade in to the center and the explosion appeared to be a mini sun appearing. Right then he felt hundreds of bullets rip through his cloth armor and through him. He grimaced and summoned a flaming pistol. He held the weapon close and it healed all of his wounds. Then he whirled and dispatched the sniping guardians with ease. "That the last of em'? Squirrel asked. "Yup" We looked around at the carnage. The once beautiful meadow was now littered with smoking craters and dead bodies. Not one proud dandelion still stood and hundreds of ghosts were hovering about looking to revive their guardians. "Best get going again," LMAZ sighed, "those damned guardians have to go ruin everything don't they?" "Yeah," Nessie replied sullen. "We'd better get going again, this place has seen enough." And so the trifecta set off again, wanderers traveling the road less traveled. They climbed mountains, manipulating the light into tools and supplies. They swam an ocean, all the way to a once proud United States. But the blasted guardians kept coming. They would keep on until our heads were no longer ours. ******************************************************** While the trifecta rested in a town called DuPont, they were assaulted again. However this time, the guardians held some success. They captured LMAZ. The fight was going the same way as usual until a invisible group of hunters came and sliced Nessie and Squirrel to shreds. Now alone, LMAZ could not hold off the thousands of guardians and eventually fell. Nessie and Squirrel would be fine of course as their bodies as LMAZ' were infused with a healing light. But some injuries could not be healed. A valuable lesson LMAZ would soon learn. ******************************************************** LMAZ came too with a splitting headache and was bound to a table. He was bound by Pastel Plating feet thick and the densest Sapphire Wire. Hardonic Essence held it all together. LMAZ tried to break his bonds but found it impossible. He was looking to activate an ability but found his headache prevented him from concentrating the light. Just then, a rocket slammed into his chest, tearing a gaping hole. He screamed. He had never suffered such a blow without hiss full powers. These kinds of blows had seemed more of a pest before, when anything he thought would happen. Well almost anything. But now, mind buzzing, chest gaping, restrained, only his healing would work but he still felt every bit of pain. His chest healed up when another rocket slammed into LMAZ' chest. He screamed again. [i]Why do I have to be a stupid human?!?![/i] he cursed himself he felt so much pain, yet could not fix it. His body, no matter the fortifications, was a rag doll compared to the Exo and the Awoken. Laughter rang through the room. "Awwww, is da wittle ELMAZWorrior hurt? Aww too bad." More laughter. Then he felt thousands upon thousands of solar bullets rip through him. He screamed again. He screamed for mercy, to make it stop he felt the warm blood dripping down his chest. The solar bullets continued to rip him apart. And there was nothing he could do. He began to sob and feel the helplessness of the guardians he had slain. He felt their pain ten-fold. He however, wouldn't die. He would stay strong. He would not let these puny cowards torture him. But the pain, oh the pain was so great and as he tried to show no pain, more showed. He felt ripped apart. He felt cooked from the inside out. [i]Why, how, how am I not dead?[/i] he wailed in his mind. [i]Why must I endure this?[/i] The man who laughed must have read my mind because his voice boomed again. "If you think this is bad, it's nothing compared to what's next." ******************************************************** "Nessie, you seem LMAZ?" "Nah, but knowing him, he's probably frolicking in the woods." "Ok, if you say so." Nessie and Squirrel scrambled up the ruins, scratching themselves as fast as they healed. And where their bodies failed, their light never did. And finally they set up camp. They were on high alert but no attack came, nor any sign of LMAZ. [b]Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed!
