two exotics on one or the other slot
I understand that having more than one exotic item on each slot would be overpowered. but maybe you being able to equip two exotic weapon but cant equip exotic armor and vise versa would that give diversity or would that make the game too easy or ruin crucible.

I think you should be able to do that for armour but not weapons because with weapons you will get gjallarhorn and ice breaker combos etc which would be too overpowered while a helm of saint 14 and armamentarium combo etc would be less overpowered. I would only make 2 exotics equipable in pve though
