I was going to post this on a topic that got Ninja'd.
Gamers will always whine, complain, and bitch about every single self-perceived injustice brought onto them by the "greedy video game mega-corporations" and the "corrupt studios" working under them. Destiny just happens to have a community that's fostered on negativity and hostility to other members of the community as well as self-entitlement forwards the games content. Players want the best of the best and feel, by purchasing the game, are entitled to be given it rather than earning it. Players are trained to feel competitive in regards to each other which is natural in this sort of game. It's either "git gud" or "do you even Destiny?". Those with trolling intentions gravitate towards Destiny (and any FPS). These issues will continue regardless of intervention from a largely apathetic Bungie or something happens from within the community.
Until then, it's either bitching about Gally, bitching about merging Thorn, bitching about ToO, pvp vs pve, anything related to Taken King, Luke Smith, and anything else people find unfair and broken. Plus, complaining/bitching threads tend to get more visibility than positive/productive threads in most forums.
I like the forums but it's obvious it's a very toxic community to try be apart of.
