Please read this article and decide for yourselves what to make of this. TLDR: Destiny is not being held back in any way by that fact that it's released on Xbox 360/PS3. Current Destiny is the fully envisioned product. But what Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg says in this article really makes me reconsider whether I would buy the next installment of Destiny 2, assuming its also released on last-gen consoles. I didn't buy an Xbox One so I could play the same games I could on my old Xbox 360. It's been years since current-gen consoles launched and AAA titles should have moved on completely by now. How long will we have to play a downgraded game on current-gen consoles, and this goes for Xbox and PlayStation? Thankfully E3 showed us that Activision will have to earn our money, with lots of exciting AAA titles coming in the next 2 years. Okay rant over. Happy Xursday!
