Even Deej in his latest interview seemed to ignore this and certainly most of the posts here do. Weapons aren't the problem even I know I need to delete more and I would be fine. No increase in vault space means I probably won't get ttk.

Armor is the problem. You can't maintain builds with the limited space.
So please stop clamoring for gun space. Call for space where we need it not where it will help with collecting.
Edit: here are a few of my replies to other threads and here that may help illustrate my point a little better. I've basically come to the conclusion that armor needs to be rerollable like weapons or space needs to be increased to relieve pressure. With Hunter helmets alone 5/9 spaces are taken by exotics.
There is probably a contract preventing it but if it's still last gen holding this back move past it please. Vault space can be the only difference between generations and it encourages upgrading meaning more console sales and game sales
What really makes me angry is when thy first increased vault space they said it was a temporary solution to relieve the immediate problems and a better solution would be in the works. Now at e3...

They are back to the same run around answer. This means either they were serious before and decided not to do more and won't own up to it. Or that was a PR lie to begin with.
Vault space was the main factor that determined my ttk purchase. Without it it's pointless. You can't call our time, weapons, and armor equivalent to the new player exclusive bonuses when we wont even have the space to keep much of it.
Armor is the biggest problem for me. Which surprises me because it affects pvp players the most. It's very difficult to make specific builds. Relief could easily be given by making armor rerollable like weapons, but that doesn't seem like a thing either. Overall I'm very disappointed Bungie is obviously trying to weed out and replace as much of the old arsenal as possible. Which is sad because they can't even get the balance right to begin with.

That's kinda what I mean. It's more building te loadouts that it's causing a problem for rather than just holding them. No one gets the perfect rolls they need to balance a build right away. Especially with the heavy strength rolls being sold for Poe. If it all wasn't rng id have an easier time but for example I have to hold onto 3 different hand cannon reload arms because I don't have the chest piece stat balance yet to delete two, but if I delete now it could easily be the next one dropped or sold that would have matched with it.
Basically I see it as we have:
1)vog
2)crota
3)poe-multiple builds for different races
4)trials
5)handscannon
6)pulse
7)auto
8)scout
9)exotic
10) iron banner
Some are mutually exclusive but with this system you need to collect a lot more before you can narrow down or just end up like poe gear now with over 400 strength and nothing else
The vault space can't be increased any further. Bungie servers are already hard pressed as it is. You have nine slots per piece per character for armor plus vault space. That should be more than enough.
-
How do you have a full vault.. I've been playing since last Jan and my bank is completely empty
-
It's pretty clear, vault space needs to be increased. Shaders, emblems, guns, gears, what's the point of all this stuff if we just have to delete it all?
-
They should just increase vault space for everything

Personally the armour slots in my vault are always empty. I'd love to see the same amount of vault space per weapon or armour type. 42 auto rifles? Why not.

Still seeing a lot of posts focusing on weapons only so bump
-
Guns were never my concern it was armor here too. What's the point of keeping old raid gear because I'm running out of space with it and iron banner stuff and gathering exotics for different activity builds is literally half my inv gone. Bungie needs to address this. I'll scrap some guns as long as exotics upgrade but if not I may be passing on the taken king

I think there's plenty room for armor. Could hold 9 sets just on the character itself. Since they don't share armor there's less need to pass it around. Weapons and items are shared more between characters. Holding it is one thing but needing the room to move it about is another. Shuffling couple items at a time to switch things around becomes oh so time consuming.
