Remember back in Alpha/Beta?
Remember when you first received your access code and you were super excited?
You started up the game and created your character with the thought of "where will my character go and what adventures will we go on?"
Sitting there thinking "BUNGIE made Halo amazing, I wonder what they have up their sleeves for Destiny?"
That opening mission... Running through there facing enemies with the excitement of endless possibilities.
That moment when you first unlocked your grenade at the end. The excitement that filled me.
Then, coming into that room with the ship and the Captain. Oh, man... I couldn't contain myself.
Cutscene plays... You fly off...
Mysterious lady appears.
"Who is that," you wondered.
"What role does she have in this game?"

The moment you first arrived at the Tower. It was just the first step into this new, apocalyptic world... The Last Safe City on Earth...

Remember the Devil's Lair the first time you went through it? Remember how hard it was?
I'll never forget how hard those waves were... They seemed endless.
Finally, Sepiks Prime (when no one could remember his name). That little taste of "this is what the bosses in Destiny will be like."
I remember when my friend yelled into the mic, "Alex! Come here! There's a chest under this platform!"
The first time I opened it and the loot I received... I was so excited just to try them out.
I still feel that sense of nostalgia to this day. <3

I try to keep playin like i did in the beta with friends but the same friends i played with in the beta are now just cocky bastards just trying to rush everything. But this post just made me smile an it made me forget what destiny has become..........Shit.

The old vangaurd/crucible weapons? VoG had monumental significance? The XVO Timebreaker image showed it gray? Valus was a bitch? Thorn sucked ass? SUROS/Mytho were gods? ARs in general rocked? Pulse Rifles sucked? Cheesing the raid bosses? "You get some Special Ammo! You get some Special Ammo! Everyone gets Special Ammo!" ORIGINAL Queens Wrath? Getting your first legendary/exotic? The list continues...

4 RepliesI loved the part when they unlocked the moon for an hour. Holy balls of Hellen Keller Bat man! That was fun I remember getting to a gold chest somewhere down in the depths and getting an emblem with a bunny on it ohhhh hohoho I felt so badass going back to the tower everyone was wondering where in the blam! I got it.....
