•
Posted by: ShadowHunter118
Posted by: CrazYPostaLSam The game looks real beautiful, but the problem is that the mechanics and strategy of this game are horrible. The weapons are not nearly balanced unless they changed something. The game revolves almost entirely around having the cheap weapons. Also, they put low gravity on one of the levels... Let me just say one of my biggest issues with the new Halos has been the fact that you can jump from above somebody, and mysteriously teleport to them when your about to it the ground and assassinate them. Low gravity along with the lunge melee that is still in halo reach, encourages people to jump around like dang idiots and melee people in the backs, which doesnt take any skill or strategy, just takes trial and error. That's practically all the new halos take- No strategy, no teamwork, just trial and error testing what the cheapest techniques are. In Halo 1, it was all about responding to the enemy's actions. Not in the new Halos, just about having a cheapass position with cheap weapons. The low gravity thing just makes people jump around like idiots with no plan, trying to assisnate, like how people mindlessly sprint around once they have the hammer and melee and it requires no strategy. Halo Reach is not a good game- They added abilities to make the game seem strategic, but the abilities have no rhyme or reason. Their only goal with the new halos is to make them seem cooler. Invisilibity- camp all day. Jetpacks- Fly around and just shoot. Try landing on people and mystriouesly teleporting to them, boy thats real strategic. Invincibility- Somewhat useful, but not nearly as strategic and requiring of skill and timing as sprinting does, I think. If they added sprinting to Halo 1, it would be a billion times better of an improvement than the improvements they attempted to make in this game.
Ok, first of all, don't whine like a kid. Second, it doesn't take a genius to know that Reach will in fact, be the best Halo game. And finally, Halo is one of the most balanced games in first person shooters (it may even be the the most balanced of all FPS).
