People are saying you can two bust kill guardians in the crucible. I'm staying to wonder. It's that a theory based on numbers, or do you actually get two bust kills with this gun?
When I line up my headshots, at least one ofthe bullets in the burst hits the body. Resulting in a need if a third burst.
I love the gun, but calling it a two burst pulse rifle is a bit inaccurate.
P.S. I don't suck at aiming. :p

Its two burst kill I love it
-
Hold down on the analog stick as you fire a burst, it compensates for the recoil. I kill with two bursts quite frequently.
-
Aim assist is OP with this gun. Even with lower stability it is entirely possible.
-
I've done it multiple times red death is very strong in the crucible
-
Generally a three but two is possible.
-
If all rounds hit the head. Any less and it won't work.
-
It won't 2-burst without aggressive ballistics. You must be running the bottom barrel option.
-
Strangers rifle can also 2 burst
-
Honestly If you get the bottom barrel the stability is good enough that you should be able to land the entire burst on the head. This is 36×3 damage (108) so one more burst should be a kill if you land 3 more headshots
-
Yes, you can get two burst kills. It probably depends on what upgrade you have in the first tree. Some change the recoil pattern. But I get two burst kills all the time...
-
It's a two headshot kill. It was a three headshot kill.
-
You have to counter the recoil during the burst. With the Messenger you don't. It's more user friendly
-
If all bullets hit, it's a two shot. A better gun for two shotting in PvP is the messenger. The "body shots increase precision damage" helps if one of the bullets hit the body and the rest go to the head. And if they all go to the head, it's still a two shot. Plus better stability.

Edited by TaberNaCl gg: 6/11/2015 3:00:58 PMAll pulse rifles with the same impact are a two burst kill. Three little words, messenger, spare change etc. It does 38 damage per bullet for precision headshots in crucible that's 114 per burst for a total of 228. Those numbers are based on my experience of using the guns I mentioned, particularly the three little words.
