Iron Banner Reputation Boost for lower-ranked Guardians?
So I get how the emblem, shader and class item boost your reputation, but this was in Bungie's update last week and I can't find anywhere how exactly it works. Does anyone have some information?
"Lower-ranked Guardians on your account will receive a reputation boost to catch up to your higher-ranked Guardian more quickly"

Did anyone else find that the alt buff stopped working at rank 4? I got my first character to rank 5 then went back to my second character. I was getting the buff right up till I hit rank 4 at which point it stopped. So it took me a lot longer to reach rank 5 with that character than I had expected. I haven't found anyone else discussing this which make me wonder if I had a bug. At the time I assumed the buff just stops at rank 4 regardless of whether your main is at rank 5 or not.
