I haven't played since Tuesday with the 10% buffs. That day I got my warlock and hunter to level 2. Warlock was 775 in Level 2 and Hunter was 305 into Level 2. I just started with my Titan today and here's how it worked out. I played multiple matches but only won a single one and redeemed four medallions from a previous IB event. I also redeemed three bounties to put me at 68 points into Level 2. I was only wearing a shader and emblem the entire time, but no Titan mark as I have never purchased an IB mark for my Titan. Each bounty 100 point netted me about 302 points for a total of 906. Then with my 50 pt win and four 40 pt medallions (210 pts) I somehow got up to 1368 points. So here';s the math: (302+210) + 25%(buff) + 10%(emblem) + 10%(shader) + Rep Boost for lower Ranked Guardian =1368 [b]Hold the phone[/b], I think I just found the magic source. Essentially for your alternate characters, you get something called an Alt Buff. It looks like it doubles your score from whatever you earn. At least today it does. http://www.ironbanner.info/

Got my Titan to rank 3 today, so switched to Hunter and started on that. Only have emblem and shader plus daily buff so should be 1.1 x 1.1 x 1.25 = 1.51 as a total buff on everything (or roughly 50%). For a win I would therefore expect to get 50 points x 1.51 = 76, but I am actually getting 106. So it looks like there is a 40% buff on wins and losses on top of all other buffs just for being a lower ranked guardian. For bounties, I would have expected 100 x 1.51 =151, but I am actually getting 302. So it looks like there is a massive 100% buff on bounties on top of all other buffs just for being a lower ranked guardian. Makes sense therefore to do all bounties on all characters each day, and you will rank up easily on the lower characters. Assuming you have at least the emblem and shader and buy the daily buff, on a lower character today it would take only 4 bounties and a single win to get you near as dammit to Rank 2

Does this mean that you want to push a single guardian all the way to level 5 and then start your next one for a boost? Do we think it will just start off the character at a higher level like a head start or give a percentage "boon"/modifier that grants more rep for each win and bounty turned in?

my buddy ranked up a guy to level 2 then swapped out to a diff character he said that the lower level guy was gaining rep really fast. so he leveled one to level 2 then swapped then leveled that guy to level 2 then swapped for the 3rd guy and was flip flopping around like that to get them all leveled at same time.

I thought I remembered something about AFTER you had already leveled a character with IB? Sorry, badly worded. I believe it means AFTER you've ranked up with one character in IB, you get a boost when ranking up your other characters.
