On ethernet, still getting disconnected

We got a new router last week and I've been getting connection errors from Destiny ever since then. Sometimes after an hour of playing, sometimes after a minute. -Sometimes it says "your fireteam has been returned to orbit" (even though I'm not in one), and gives me a perpetually black screen. I'm able to bring up the pause menu. -Sometimes I get the error code caterpillar and it kicks me to the main menu, but my Xbox Live connection is still intact. -Sometimes it says "disconnected from Xbox Live" and returns me to the menu. I am able to reconnect to Live immediately afterwards without a problem. I'm on an Xbox 360 connected to a Comcast modem via ethernet. I'm not lagging at all, and My wi-fi works fine on my computer (haven't tested it on any other games yet). Setting the router on bridge mode fixed the problem, but then I can't connect anything else to the wi-fi. I've tried hooking up the old router but it doesn't fix anything. I've called Comcast about six times now and I don't know what to do. Any ideas? Are Bungie's servers down? Is my router haunted? What do?
